Wow. I enjoyed Speed Grapher, but I’m not sure it was good enough to be placed above RahXephon. That’s just… weird. It was fun, but I thought the directing & animation quality left a LOT to be desired. Though thinking about it now, the pacing was pretty damn good, and even though it had its moments where it collapsed into melodrama, it didn’t really revel there like so many other shows do.36 RahXephon
31 Speed Grapher
Still, Rah below Grapher? Bizarre. oh well, I rated 'em both a 6 on MAL, so I guess it doesn't matter anyway

00 better come a lot higher...
I was never able to get into 00, of course I could say the same for seed and every other post 90's gundam series.
Anyway so far aside from naruto this list doesn't look horrible, granted I havent seen everything that has showed up here so far.

This list is now officially bs.
Uh, what? In my opinion, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time is quite good so I don't understand why you dislike it. I thought it was so good that I even included it in my list of Top 50 Films of the 2000's.
EDIT: Or now that I think of it, I might have misunderstood you. Do you mean the list is BS because TGWLTT isn't higher on the list?

"No you wouldn't. Oz's secret is he goes without food to buy that stuff. He hasn't eaten in years." - Brikhaus
"Often I get the feeling that deep down, your little girl is struggling with your embrace of filmfaggotry and your loldeep fixations, and the conflict that arises from such a contradiction is embodied pretty well in Kureha's character. But obviously it's not any sort of internal conflict that makes the analogy work. It's the pigtails." - Merridian
"Oh, Oz, I fear I'm losing my filmfag to the depths of Japanese pop. If only there were more films with Japanese girls in glow-in-the-dark costumes you'd be the David Bordwell of that genre." - Jimbo
"Oz, I think we need to stage an intervention and force you to watch some movies that aren't made in Japan." - Trajan

Because that movie should be in the top 10.

I really enjoyed that movie myself. I don't know what to think of the list, they always make me rage because of some of the retarded choices. I'm curious to see what the top 10 is because a lot of the anime i thought was going to be there has already been listed, not because i think they are good but because these top whatever lists are stupid

This reminds me: 2.0's reception outside Evangelion fan community has been nothing short of ecstatic, even by many who absolutely hated the original. But I think it has been seen (as DVD/BD are released only in spring) way too few people to make to the list...
As for 1.0, well, considering how similar it is to original NGE I don't think it would be so easy to justify...
It could happen though, but if it would've it would've been in 50-40 range IMO

That's what I meant. Probably should have cleared that up, but was distracted at the time.

Seeing that Naruto is on their then One Piece and Bleach will likely make it too (I believe the OP anime cameout in 2000 or 2001 IIRC?) seeing their part of the holy shounen trinity after all (Both the currently most popular shounen anime in Japan at the moment).

It's a list of the TOP anime, my friend, not the worst.

So, are they just lumping 1.0 and 2.0 together?
