As for Amuro & Char, it didn't appear to me that they were buddies. It seems like they were only united by a common cause and not too much more. The enemy of my enemy is my friend so to speak.

k that makes much more sense

You should watch the original Mobile Suit Gundam Movie Trilogy, once it's been a while since you've seen the TV series. It's far better than the TV series.

I'd really like to see another NEW UC Gundam series (I'm excluding the Unicorn OVAs here..) I think they could really expand on it the universe the created, I'd like to see it return.

Also, I believe this is relevant~

Asuka is a Char? Rather, Asuka dressed up as Char. obviously.

But I was referring to Char's nickname/title.. it suits Asuka well in an odd sense.

Gundam Unicorn was excellent. The animation never once dipped below eye-shaggingly beautiful.

@ GalacticGalaxy: Most people would like an adaptation of Crossbone Gundam. It's both UC and Tomino so there's no reason why it wouldn't work.

Does anybody know if Unicorn is going to be released on standard DVD? I've tried to find out, but I can't seem to get a straight answer. Maybe I haven't been looking in the right places either. At least I'm glad the Ecole du Ciel manga is starting to be released again.

I had a feeling that it might not. At the very least, I got the orignal movie trilogy today and I am strongly considering getting a HDTV & a Blu=Ray player in the next six to nine months, so it's all right.

Do you like the 5.1 Japanese Soundtrack? I here it's more spacy and has less music then the series

I've only gotten through the first movie so far, but the 5.1 seems okay to me. As far as there is less music, I thought they rescored the movie to make it fit with the abridged narrative. Do you mean the difference between the movies and the TV series or the orignal Japanese stero of the movies?

I haven't compared to the two yet, but once I give all the movies a run-through, I'll probably check it out.

I have the MSG movies too, and can't recall which is the preferred audio. I know the remastered one kinda butchered some of the classic sound effects though, but it's still good.

I'm huge into the Unicorn release. It's been a while since we had any real animated UC stuff, and it's awesome that it isn't OYW related to boot. I'll be elated if/when they finally adapt Sentinel too.

I think Crossbone has more of a chance to be adapted than Sentinel does...and that's not saying much at all.

I'm pretty big into UC Gundam myself, I haven't seen Victory yet, though. I suppose I should start that soon and try to finish before summer ends.
