Received a belated birthday present in the form of the Kyoko Sakura Figma! Huzzah!

Awesome figure, but damn, so many small, fragile parts! I'm definitely keeping her accessories in the box instead of just putting them in the little zip-lock bag. The Pocky sticks are ridiculously small (like, thinner than propelling pencil leads) and assembling her chain-spear (whatever it is) is hair-raising. Those tiny, plastic links...yeesh.

Still, it's all worth it for the Kyubey that you can have Kyoko hold by his ear. He looks like he's going "Umm...Contract?" in a vain attempt to stop her throwing him through a window.

Ah! I finally found the appropriate thread for my question, before i bother the residents of the EVA Action figure thread for a second time.

So, did anyone here order the latest Revoltech Gurren Lagann recollection? If that is the case, do you have a Lazengann for sale or know of a place where box splits are organized?

Anyone know much about the RIOBOT line?
Falling for Knights of Sidonia comic and strongly considering their Tsugumori figure.

Upcoming Jehuty release looks solid and prices are pretty realistic too.

Well I've ordered my first and probably last ever figure, Caren Hortensia (KotoMANLY Kirei's daughter, also the best Type-Moon).

Well, in addition to a bunch of Eva figures, I have acquired a Figma Black Gold Saw. Awesome figure, nicely sculpted and well posable.

Her box had a little holographic sticker that none of my other Figmas had though. The others definitely aren't bootlegs-they're all good quality, and Figma bootlegs are notoriously shoddy. I wonder what's up with that?

Not anime but one of my favourite Godzilla designs (Godzilla 2000/G2K AKA MireGoji) is getting an SHMonsterArts figure release in December:

I'm going to pre-order the shit out of that thing.

Update: Got mine reserved over on Hobby Search.

The sticker shows that the product is "officially endorsed" by whatever company holds the copyright to the character. The copyright holder is the one who tells them to put it on the box, it has nothing to do with Max Factory. It's completely arbitrary and most companies don't care. BGS should have a Fuji Television sticker on it if I remember right.

Awesomely Shitty

-On EMF, as a thread becomes longer, the likelihood that fem-Kaworu will be mentioned increases exponentially.
-the only English language novel actually being developed in parallel to its Japanese version involving a pan-human Soviet in a galactic struggle to survive and to export the communist utopia/revolution to all the down trodden alien class and race- one of the premise being that Khrushchev remains and has abandoned Lysenko stupidity

As I mentioned a while ago in the hauls thread, I got Figma Eren and Mikasa. They're awesome, but kinda fiddly, and I'm worried about fragility with all those rubber straps and thin plastic wires.

In other (old) news, Figma Charming Drossel. I love 'er. Everyone should have one of these. Shame she's so expensive on the aftermarket...
