Hope that helps.

Kodansha USA's manga also uses "Bun head" by Mamoru, but I think later Haruka and Seiya call Usagi "Dumpling head" instead (the translations switched around volume 6).

Yeah I assumed it was probably a direct translation of the Japanese word (or at least closer), but I'm so use to hearing Meatball Head that Bun Head sounds...out of place lol.

Old post:

I just can't unhear Persona 3's Yukari with Luna.

But since it's just one clip from the first episode (same with Usagi/Mamoru scene) I'm sure with time the cast'll sound good. People familiar with dubs seemed really happy with the various casting choices.

And the new dub-Jupiter is a huge fan (of Jupiter especially) which is reassuring.

New post:

Jadeite and Queen Beryl!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rcSyO_piUGQ

Beryl sounds perfect, but Jadeite I'm not sure of. It's just one scene so I'm not too worried.

Meatball Head goes down in history as one of the best Woolseyisms of all time -- it's actually better than the original, because c'mon, doesn't her hair totally look like spaghetti? One of the few truly redeeming qualities of the dub of the first TV series. Sad to see it go. It's right up there with Makoto/Lita's "talents".

Anybody else gonna pick up Otaku USA's October 2014 in (I think?) August:

Should have them all over (Barnes and Noble, etc). This takes me back to the days of Animerica Magazine!

This is some impressive shit, those English voices made my head hurt though. (Altough they are unintentionally funny at the same time).

Was the use of the 90s series' art style intentional? You'd think they'd use something from the version that's actually airing.

It's an episode from Dic's English dub, that's why it uses the 90's style.

This is pretty cute, downloadable backgrounds to display the Figuarts if you have all 5: http://tamashii.jp/special/shf_sailormoon_posing/

I remember seeing that Figma/Max Factory have similar cute things too.

With Minako/Venus it's like "We don't know what to do with her, so let's leave her on the stand." They honestly don't seem bad on their own as Wallpapers... *Saves*

I'm talking about the Otaku USA cover. The Usagi on that cover sure doesn't look like the Usagi I've been seeing in Crystal. They are talking about Crystal when they say "Anime's champion of justice returns", aren't they?

The Otaku USA cover is by this artist for the Italian/international goods. :) Wow, he's drawn a lot of hot looking people on his official website...

There's also this fan artist with gorgeous anime-style artwork (possible spoilers, maybe).

@DataPrime: You're just becoming a fan. Other side effects may include: spinning around your room during the transformation scenes, shouting out attack phrases, and having a favorite "Sailor girl".

Look who's up on Amazon U.S.! Get "Ogata" while you can! And Haruka's waifu (better known to y'all as Kyoko's doctor/Asuka's stepmom).

July 2nd 2014 Edit:

Rica Fukami was the Japanese dub voice of Maleficent? Cool!

Knowing Ikuhara it wouldn't surprise me if this were true.

Source is S episode 1 (Episode 90 total, I think). Old but still hilarious. And really? Only 5/100, Usagi?
The last 89 episodes sure were a big work!

So pretty *_*

Sailor Moon in HD sounds so nice (still unsure if Viz did a proper job or not), but I'll probably just get the Movies. Assuming they do LE Bluray/DVD and regular DVD for all Sailor Moon releases. From what I understand, Set 2 of LE Season 1 should be cheaper since it's meant to fit in the box.
