Gundam NT: I don't know how to feel about the Newtypes in this one. It definitely feels like a continuation of Unicorn, but I have no idea how they plan to make this end up connecting with F91 and Victory, witch feel way different when it comes to all the newtype stuff.

These concerns aside, it's a good movie. Not as good as Unicorn, but for it's short length, it manages to tell a full story that doesn't feel rushed. Also, the fight scenes are great, although I wish there were other mecha series that still did 2D mechanical animation besides Gundam.

I think they are going to try to connect it through Hathaway's Flash, which the first part is coming this winter, plus there is other possible media to adapt, such as the F90 & Silhouette Formula 91 manga. Keep in mind that the end of the film...

The list of titles included at the end of this video (everything, including all sidestories from Wing, Seed, 00 and IBO) as well as the fact that it will be available on Steam makes me super hyped for this

I love that Wing Zero is the first one they show us. It seems so... proper

I mean, they were revealing the universes in order of airing, and the Wing Zero is by far the most popular and recognizable AC Era Suit

Also, I think what I'm looking forward to the most in this game is the inevitable and probably epic clash between Setsuna "I will end all war" F. Seiei and Mikazuki "Who should I kill next" Augus :chuckles:

Which also might answer the age old question of who would win, Barbatos or Exia

Tonight i viewed episodes 2 and 3 of Gundam 00. So far, my favorite Meister is Lockon and least fave is Tieria. Unlike Seed, i love hearing the war and politics exposition of all sides. Such dialogue can keep me awake all nite.

Just recently, I watched Gundam Narrative and I have to say the first 20 minutes were so boring with exposition overload so heavy, I nearly gave up on everything Gundam related until i buckled down and stopped whining like a bitch about it. Fortunately, after that I was treated to tons of mecha action and Newtype praising to make up for that first half. For most of the run, I was repulsed by Michele as a character and her actions which lead to Rita ending up as the host for the Phenex. I knew that only one appropriate outcome was going to lead to satisfaction on my part and gladly, I was not disappointed. Another nitpick is the heaping of cameos that seem to be stacked for appearance's sake. Due to this, all in all i give Narrative a 5/10. Don't get me wrong, I would gladly see it again but only if necessary.

Before I forget, I did appreciate the LGBT representation in the form of Brick who tells Jona that while he does not care for any type of romance with females, his concerns for Michele are genuine and platonic. I could be reading too much into it but that was my impression.

I watched some 40 episodes of Wing and endless Waltz tonight (I watched the first 10ish episodes 2 days ago, picked it up yesterday and pulled an allnighter to watch the rest); It is definitely a fun show and I like the artstyle quite a bit, and while I enjoyed watching the show, at the end of the day it's nothing too spectacular, and the narrative turns into a bit of a mess at the end

We could take this recent news as clickbait given how long we have been waiting for this particular project to get off the ground:

It's the hair lol - the hairstyle does show some resemblance.

ANN is full of click-bait and inaccuracies, no surprise. As for the news I somehow doubt we'll ever see it, I would love to be wrong, but I just don't see it happening

Nowadays I feel Unicorn was a misstep that shouldn't have been followed through with NT.

I'm almost halfway done with Seed. It's not awful, but definitely not great either. the Strike looks super dope and is probably my favorite thing in the show so far, followed on more or less equal grounds by La Flaga, Cagalli, Lacus and Waltfeld.
Also I didn't think I was capable of hating a fictional character as much as I do Flay. My god I look forward to whatever episode she will inevitably die

Kinda.

On a different note, I've been playing a ton of G Generation Crossrays the past couple of days and I'm having an absolute blast doing so.

I actually like Flay as a character in the sense that she is well written for the archetype she serves in the show, there really are certain people like her in the world who are shit disturbers, ruin friendships, play with your feelings, and downright don't know what they even want in their lives up to the eventaul meltdowns they have. As someone that hurt Kira and is meant to be a bad influence on him, I think she was a well made character.

Flay is definitely well written, don't get me wrong there. It's just that, much like how I woulldn't react kindly to being if I was forced to stick around someone like that in real life, I am not exactly a fan of the parts of the show in which she pays a large role - I very much enjoyed Seed after she was more of a background character (or the part where she was shelved for a while, although that was by far the only thing that particular arc had going for it)
Destiny Spoilers  SPOILER: Show
Compare that to Shinn, who you would be forgiven to think that someone whos entire motivation is the unnecessary suffering of innocent civilians would realize that the side that just used two weapons of mass destruction - one of which he fought not even five episodes prior - might not actually be the good guys.
The only parts of Destiny that I genuinely enjoyed are the ones where he took a back seat (aka 40-35) or the last Ep where he was basically absent throughout.

Yeah I also think SEED is a much better show than Destiny. Shin was not a good character, and it's almost as if the writers realized that halfway, and they switched to Authrun/Kira for the second half of the show :D

I would argue that that wasn't what almost happened, but rather what did happen, lol.
On his own I don't actually mind Shinn, and he (as well as most other things in destiny) could have been really good - if not for the abundant amounts of stupidity and characters acting as empty shells of themselves for the sake of plot.
SPOILER: Show
Hands down my favorite scene in Destiny has to be when Cagalli returns to Orb, takes back control with nothing but clever wording, and immediately has Yuna arrested for treason. Up to this point they kinda botched her - but that was brilliant, and 100% in character
