Hey everyone!
I've been searching the forums to see if there was a topic meant for posting pictures of model kits, but it seems that considering most of my kits are Gundam related this would be the best place to share them. =)
If you're curious about which kits I built, here they are!
At the top of one of my two shelves:
My tiny White Base gang and the Jumbo sized Gundam
This is what I call the Super Robot Wars shelf :
From left to right: Mazinger Z, L-Gaim, Eva 02, Great Mazinger, Dunbine, Gundam RX-78-2 and Cybuster
This is my personal favorite shelf, the ''One Year War Earth Federation'' shelf :
I'm a big fan of Federation suits, especially the GM. I actually painted the Ground Type GM in green:
This shelf has a variety of my favorite Mobile Suits, all UC:
Zeta Plus, Zaku II, Qubeley MK II and Kampfer
The bottom shelf, the Gundam shelf:
More relevant to this site, the Evangelion Soul of Chogokin trio.
They are not model kits, though. These three are diecast action figures.
The Z Gundam shelf:
...and the Argama
The Ideon shelf:
The Harlock shelf:
The other bottom shelf, the ''HG UC'' shelf:
The Gray Phantom's Scarlet Team seen in 0080. My personal favorite
I also painted a GM in green and completely repainted a Guncannon with a new color scheme to make this little trio.
Amuro, Christina and Bernie:
My little Titans trio:
Some Cagalli love:
As an added bonus, I took pictures of other anime related things in my collection. Perhaps some of you share similar interests?
The ''Magical Girl shelves''
Gundam shelf:
Gainax shelf:
Overview:
Pokemon collection:
There you go! If any of you share similar interests I'd be happy to know! ;) I hope I didn't bore anyone with too many pictures!

Oof, I love that Z Gundam shelf. Good stuff Kamon. Only kits I have are a 1/144 Zaku II and a Gouf in the same size.

Agreed! I fell in love with Macross after watching ''Do You Remember Love'' just before Christmas, but I have yet to build something from this series. I would love to build a model of Max's Valkyrie, actually!
Thank you for your comment, Final Messenger!
Caragnafog Dog: What a strange coincidence! A friend of mine only has these two models, too!Only kits I have are a 1/44 Zaku and a Gouf in the same size.
I would love to build a replica of the Arcadia from Harlock SSX, too!

That's a beautiful collection. Also I spy a Noriko Takaya statue- I love you automatically.
The only plamo I have is a Unit 01 model which I'm getting ready to paint, once I have a good gloss black lacquer. I fancy doing a Hygogg though- it's easily the best amphibious mobile suit there is (in my opinion anyway) and it looks fun to paint. I also have a plan once I'm experienced with these things to make a nemesis for Bearguy- Hyfrogg.
(I need to watch GBF)

Meh. It sounds decent, I've heard worse.
I'm just angry they didn't out source to the Ocean Group so they could bring the original English cast

Just finished Destiny, may post longer thoughts later, but long story short, ok first half, but from the moment the Archangel showed up the show started to suck. Srsly who wrote that shit!!! Whatever potential it had got flushed in favour of "preachy-rec-coning-bizarre-lack-of-motivation-bullshit!"
I was pulling for Shinn the whole way to blast Orb to oblivion but alas. However, the show inspired me to make this video.

I mean, predictability is the central attraction and the narrative hook that we've all come to expect from the Evangelion franchise. How come Anno can't realize this? Twice? - FreakyFilmFan4ever

lol they're actually siblings WHAT A TWIST
Finally decided to drop G-Reco.
I really loved it at first, felt like I was watching something straight out of the 80's and the animation was fantastic. I had no idea what was going on in the first episode, but I thought the series starting in-media-res was fine and I enjoyed the fast pace. However, 18 episodes later and I still have no idea what the plot is or what relationships the warring(?) factions have with each other. There seem to be antagonists but they treat the heroes like honored guests and even let them leave their secret bases to tell all their friends about them at will. It's baffling to me.
I'm a big fan of Tomino and I was willing to give him plenty of time to explain things to his audience, but everything continues to be so nonsensical. Honestly it feels like the show was written by a committee who have no sense of narrative cohesion and just make up things as they go along, throwing in whatever they think is cool.
I was going to continue on just because I hate dropping an anime but I realized I hadn't even paid attention to the last two episodes I watched. Maybe I'll come back to it after it ends.

There isn't a real antogonist. Just people with different interests which breeds conflict like in Turn A.
Capital Army wants to capture the G-Self to analyze it. Amerians went out to counter the CA because they don't want the CA to gain any upper hand in the power struggle.
Gavan team went out to subdue the Megafauna's forces and capture the G-self because they've been causing problems around the colony. Gavan team is seemingly the colony defense forces.
Rockpie was sent out because Gavan team was going out with beam weapons, which could be disastrous if someone hit the Crescent Ship or Kashiba Mikoshi
And the Megafauna itself is just trying to get to the Venus Globe, the apparent source of Photon batteries and possibly the Hermes Foundation
The show is fine and coherent, I have no problem following it. I'd suggest to rewatch some episodes and read synopses from anons.

also these sales records turned out to be wrong
the first vol sold around 10k
the second is around 8k

I don't find it that confusing, what bothers me is Tominio's lack of ability in writing dialogue. People are just so random and mostly talk PAST each other instead of to each other. It's not awful(something I said earlier) it just doesn't hold up in 2014-15 which has been amazing for anime including mech shows like Aldonoah Zero and the new Fafner.
That said, I've come this far and I'm not stopping, I'm going to watch ep 19 right now!
