Even I don't find those funny or odd :ehh:

The best ones are the ones that are smack in the middle of the screen and the characters aren't even supposed to be far away. (Although QB looks a little derpy in some of those)

The gore. I know it's a given but we didn't see any in the show. So I was shocked :o

Manga adaptations are usually more explicit with violence and sex because they don't have to follow TV censorship rules. If there had been gore in that scene in the anime, the rating would've been bumped WAY up and it would've been moved to a later timeslot, ultimately missing out on the target audience it intended to troll with the scene in the first place. Madoka Magica is pretty grimdark, obviously, so having gore in the manga shouldn't be much of a surprise.

No, she heard it elsewhere first. She had come to the area before she even came across Kyubey who "tried" to tell her that it's not for her. Obviously Kyubey didn't say anything other than "there's another mahou shoujo" and "are you sure you are gonna attack her?" (or something like that). He doesn't try to stop Kyoko even though he knows her intentions - hence he's already more or less evil.

Oh Oz. . .

Edit:This weeks episode was great. It's probably my second favorite episode, just behind episode 3. It would have been #1 but I found the ending to be rather underwhelming. The revel didn't really come as a shock to me.

No, it wasn't really shocking, but it was still kind of awesome.

I don't think it was ment to be "twist". The name Soul Gem kind of gave it away

still felt incredibly fucked up and wrong though

Awesome as fuck episode. Kyoko playing DDR with the opening theme was pretty funny, I like when they reference the series' OP/ED in the series itself.

I don't think the revelation was meant to be OMG WTF IS GOING ON or whatever, but it was pretty surprising as to how the soul gems actually work. I mean, sure you could guess it had something to do with their "soul" because of the name, but who knew it was just used to control their bodies like some kind of really cool remote controlled action figure?

By the way, it's kind of surprising that this is the 2nd time in a row nutbladder released before gg. They must be working their ass off to release first; too bad it came at the cost of several typos in this ep.

Little bastard.. Incredibly awesome episode. I liked the we finally discovered what the "soul gems" were, as if the name wasn't glaring us in the face the whole time. Her mom's not very good at giving advice. I can see the being resistant to pain but you have to do something wrong because it's the right thing to do? "DDR" and "Rocky" Sticks +1.

I liked how they all ganged up on Kyuubey at the end and he's just being held by his ear with that stupid smile on his face...

The commercials were excellent, Evangelion game for your phone and MORNING RESCUEE!

Great episode. While I agree that the soul gem actually holds the soul wasn't much of a reveal, I was still surprised by how it actually worked.

Kyouko missed a good opportunity to drop-kick fuzzless bastard.

Homura's from the future.

Does anyone remember what happened to Mami's soul gem?

Homura took it. It landed on her teacup, and when the world disappeared she took it. Nevermind. It looked like it faded when she died and if I really cared I suppose I could argue about it...
