I loved that movie! It was adorable and heart-breaking. It's my favorite Ghibli movie next to Kiki's Delivery Service and Spirted Away.

Name: Pom Poko

Why the hell I am watching this: Cracked's article on "most traumatizing events in children's movies" and it somehow made it to number 1.

What the hell I am watching: A fictional documentary on racoons losing their homes.

Art Style: Very pretty at times, possibly even their best after Nausicaa and Porco Rosso.

Pacing: Definitely good.

Moments Worth Remembering: Pretty much most of the movie was this.

Enjoyability: Far more enjoyable than I thought it would, if you can get passed raccoon testicles it's definitely entertaining. Strangely enough I can't tell if it ended as bittersweet or happy.
