I prefer the term "egalitarianism" - seems to describe the attitude more clearly, I think.
I guess for me, the comic was funny in the way that watching a video of two kids reenacting a wrestling move and getting seriously injured as a result is funny. Maybe that's a bad example. In any case, I hesistate to equivocate "shameless male chauvinist" with "badass". (Watch "Aliens" to see what I mean.)

Anyone who doesn't find that funny is a communist... there I said it.

Life sized Rei and Asuka figures, and the reactions they inspire.

RyoTD wrote:So? How does being a communist relate to having a decent sense of humor?
Because for some reason plotting the overthrow of the Tzar just kills one sense of situational humor. I'll also venture to say ones ability to appreciate world play also diminishes in direct proportion to the size of the bread lines one is forced to wait in.
(Or at the time I made that post I couldn't think of anything witty to say in support of the comic, so I just said that.)
And just so this post isn't a complete waste.

IN SOVIET RUSSIA, MORDOR SIMPLY WALKS INTO YOU!
Actually, you don't have to. Check the file properties. And "Namek" is just an internets-euphemism for Soul Society.
Aaaand guess what? WETA just released some new LAEM concept art!
