The best ending for me would be that Shinji has learned to make friends, lol.

I would like to see Instrumentality almost happen only to have Shinji wake up on the ride over to Tokyo 3 in the beginning of the 1.0 and then have Anno "redo" the four movies only this time with better technology and with more time and money, but this time he goes back to the TV setup but with an hour per episode instead of just the half hour. Plus, everybody is already in Tokyo 3 for some reason.

I'd like to see an epic running time of over 2 hours. These films are great views but an extra half hour or so would make the all the difference in character development.

And seeing as how I just found out this new Haruhi movie coming out next month has a confirmed running time of 162 minutes Anno and gang need to up their game up for this saga's climax.

Yeah.....but....as i said in my previous post here.

Just a thought that i had. You know how in NGE Eva Unit 04 disappears after the supposed failure of the S2 engine test at the Nevada NERV base-never to be seen or heard from again? What if in Rebuild, that it suddenly re-materializes again somewhere on the planet, at a critical moment and either allows NERV HQ Japan to use in its operations or becomes another walking infected angel?

How cool would that be? Would be even better if it suddenly re-materializes during a heated Eva vs. Angel battle in Tokyo 3. lol.

Meanwhile amen to Gendo Papa's comment about extending the length of these movies. Why not? If Kyoto Animation's Haruhi can afford an extra 50 min to its running time why not Khara's Rebuild movies. They definitely need to extend the running length of either 3.0 or 4.0, especially for 3.0 if its the last movie in the series.
