My CDJapan order is "in shipping process"

Now we can look back at our memories of "GAH WHEN IS EVA 2.0 GOING TO GET ANNOUNCED" and "GEE THIS DVD IS TAKING A LONG TIME TO GET A RELEASE DATE" and now we can repeat them, but changing 2.0 to 3.0.

What do you mean?
You get charged when the package has the notice "preparing and ready to ship".

Just like to let you guys know if you didnt already ( as there still seems to be some confusion), that the Anisab works fine. The sound is all in snyc using MPC. Quality is pretty good but not quite DVD.

Cheers

There's a new version, 720p. Don't know if it's legit, it was uploaded less than 3 hours ago.

A 720p version doesn't seem to exist. Are you sure you didn't just see "720x480" and think "720p"?

Can't a 720p version be made from the 1080p version?

You're right, my mistake. But then why is it more than 4GB? That's weird.

It's not a waste of space at all. In addition to the movie, it contains Rebuild of Evangelion 2.02, the omitted scenes, the Noguchi version of "Tsubasa wo Kudasai", the script, and all the trailers.

Yeah but I'll watch those bonuses after I get a legit copy. I think I'll order them on cdjapan, I'm definitily not fond of 1.11 western editions packaging, and I want some uniformity in my collection.

The Blu-Ray is already in sale... (at least in some big shops in Yokohama)
And I have been surprised to find a film strip in mine even if I didn't have preordered it...
