Is the first one from EoE? That doesn't look like a (living) girl's face at all! *shock* (or is it the top of her helmet?)

I think earlier in the thread somebody thought Zeruel was called the 14TH Angel. Was this just incorrect or did Kara fuck up something? I'm even more confused about Angel order now, but I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Not correct. Eva-06 is the moon giant, but its decent from the moon is just like the preview from 1.0.

A question, if you don't mind.

Did you find Shinji, as people call him during the series, whingy? Spineless and cowardly? Or does he show some development on that (without going all 'lol hardcore badass like a one dimensional Marvel superhero')?

I don't remember him doing any whining in this movie. He was super pissed off about the Bardiel/Asuka thing and didn't want to have anything to do with Nerv after that. He seemed pretty well adjusted, hangs out with Toji and Kensuke a lot, has no qualms talking with Rei or Asuka, had discussions with Kaji twice.

Well in his scenes with Asuka and Rei, they said Shinji acts just like he does in the series.

Lol, yes, it would seem it would be best if people just thought of these new characters as just that, new characters. Parallel world or not, bleeding in canon from the series is likely a bad idea as well.

Change is good though, make it different, though it all sounds much more straight forward this time around. Wonder if we will actually get to the mind screwing....

Why is Asuka in bed with Shinji? Is this when his hands were injured and she goes to talk with him? Does she actually sleep with him or just has the little chat and leaves.

And Asuka and the puppet, does it go into her past at all or explain whats up with this as it's such a huge change from her fear/hatred of dolls/puppets from the original.

EDIT: Is Beast Mode different from the Eva units going Berserk?
