I know someone who's just the same. He said that it was unfair of Khara to release them separately, and that it would be more comfortable for him to watch them all in one shot.

I think it's unfair of Warner Bros. to release all of the Harry Potter films separately. It would be more comfortable for me to watch them all in one shot.

I actually got the subbed DVD late. A short time after christmas I was in a shop and saw it, and though screw downloading it, despite the fact it had just finished at home (I was actually out to kill time to it finished) turns out the download didn't work anyway, so win 4 me.

I have still not seen it. I got so fed up for waiting for the DVD though, that I decided to download it today, now that I'm back home for summer vacation where the internet doesn't suck. Hopefully I'll be watching it tonight!

I've had 1.0 for like...2 or 3 months and its got French subtitles *glooooom*. I understand pretty much of whats going throughout thing except for the conversation between Gendo and Fuyutsuki, Gendo vs. Seele monoliths and some of the stuff of the moon.

I've recently obtained a english script for 1.0...but i'm too lazy to read it yet

If your fine with streaming, why are you against downloading the actual file and not having to deal with the compression of flash based streaming sites?

codecs are your friends. I know very little about macs, but i'm sure theres video players for macs that can use different codecs. If all else fails, install xp or vista and have a dual operating system, everyone i know with a mac does it.

As for space, I usually delete videos that i watch only once. But you could always get an external hard drive. Hell, my portable works for both mac and pc, and comes with software for both systems.

Also, you can try burning a dvd of the file so you can watch it on you tv. Not sure you can do that if you cant even view it on your laptop though

No video file I've ever run across has any problem playing on a mac. The operating system has nothing to do with what you can and can't watch. If it's .mkv format you're having issues with, use Perian or Mplayer OSX. Perian is simple to install and will let you watch essentially any format in Quicktime. Unless it's just a really old computer you shouldn't have any trouble.

I just watched it, the fight with the 5th angel was beautiful

There are a few minor things I didn't like but overall I thought it was great and I can't wait to see 2.0

After a great internal struggle, I decided to NOT watch the cam-rip and wait for better subtitles and video quality.

Thus, I first saw it when it when the DVD-rip hit the net.

Oh man was that the right choice. Watching that movie for the first time in hi-def....jaw dropping.


Gets me all nostalgic about End of Evangelion. I downloaded a medium quality version of that with 56k dial up WAY back in the day, but that's another thread.

Waiting for the dub. I have an extreme case of xenophobia. If I hear anyone speaking in a language I don't understand, I begin to think that they are saying nasty things about me, even if there is an English translation on the screen.

I also want to see the updated visuals on a high quality screen that will do them justice.
