Zoom Player. I'll go ahead and download this other one you're talking about.

Yeah, I got the CCCP, and tried both Zoomplayer and Media Classic. It seems that a file went missing during the torrent download. If that's the case, I may put my face through my monitor.

Nope, wireless. The network cuts out every once in a while, so it's delightfully infuriating.

Heh, I have charter, and Charter + Torrents doesn't really mix well.

(Charter is a cable company, so I have cable, I suppose. Generally pretty fast except when it comes to torrents.)

Charter hates torrents so much, that when I go to download a torrent, it will reduce my internet speed to worse than Dial up, and the torrent won't download at more than 30 kb/s if I'm lucky. :\

30 kb/s, That's sooo slow, my dial up gets 3 kb/s if I'm lucky.

30 kb is the top, more often then not it fluctuates around 5-10.

Not to come off as rude though, dial up does suck, and I feel for you.

So this thread has TOTALLY veered into being about downloads and not about the actual DVD release, amirite?

Sorry about that. Jumping back into topic here real quick, has there been any word about a state-side release yet?

How did you find it? What did you search? I have been checking eBay but have yet to find a copy of the DVD for sale there...

Thanks!

I think I'd rather wait until an official eng subbed version of ROE comes out before I'd buy it. I don't see the point of buying the super-deluxe special features version when it's all in Japanese.

The special features aren't really that great, anyway. With Explanation of Evangelion, it's basically zillions of captions telling you the full designations of every bit of equipment present in the movie, the name of every location you switch to, and stuff like that. Basically episode 06 on <the mind-expanding drug of your choice>. I mean, if you're into that sort of thing and can actually translate Congo lines of kanji, maybe it's worthwhile.

Some of it is in English though. Like those Restructured Multistorey Car Park Embedded Cannon Systems (RMCPECS) and the other defences of Tokyo-3.

Someone should still translate it, anyway.
