Now I don't know the English cast that well but I did a quick IMDB search but correct me if I'm wrong-

The only two returning cast members from the ADV dub are Spike for Shinji and Allison for Misato?

Those two I could live with.

*As an aside do you think being married to "Big Devil" Matt Greenfield might (hopefully) keep Tiffany Grant from getting Asuka in 2.0?

P.S. Honestly...Monica Rial is ONLY going to play Pen-Pen? I hate to do it but...LOL

That is great. I'm happy the original Shinji and Misato are in it.
Now I'm anxious to see how the other characters will sound! ^_^

I can't believe Justin Cook, Coleen Clickenbeard, Greg Ayles, and Monica Rial(Even if she is playing Pen-Pen) are apart of the cast. :leekspin:

Good to see Spike and Allison back. Those where both at the top of my list. Can't wait to see what they can do!

Anyone heard any of the other members (notably the lady who is doing Rei)? I don't recognize any of them, though a lot of them seemed to be involved with FMA. I am a little let down to not see AWL here, but...we;ll see.

No Tristan McAvery? :(

Also about Kaworu. They have someone new for the role, yet Greg Ayers is playing Kensuke. Interesting...

Didn't John do Gendo for the Director's cuts and EOE? I don't remember him being as good as Tristan.

Edit: You're right he did. He didn't do a bad job as Gendo though.

Yeah John Swasey was Gendo in the director's cut, but it was still Tristen McAvery in EoE. John was pretty good IMO.

YAY! Spike and Allison are back! I wish we could have gotten AWL back for Rei, since despite her poor directorial choices had a very accurate interpretation of Rei, but I'm glad that we're at least getting the original English Misato and Shinji back. Hopefully for #2 they'll get Tiffany Grant back as well (although I know someone is going to hiss at me for saying that).

They got a good replacement for Ritsuko.

Lose the mystical-hippy tone and she'll fit well.

And anyone is better than the sugar-crash Touji/Aida in the series's dub, although I'm surprised Greg didn't get re-cast as Kaworu.[/url:1wfcpkq3]

I wonder how Caitlin Glass will do as Maya. She's a pretty good voice actress.
