The Sega Mark.09 figure is titled

「第１のアダムスの器（移行中間形態）ゼーレ仕様」

Specifically labeling it as the first Adams' Vessel

We urgently need some clarification on this point. What does "第１" mean? The "first" as in the original one created, or "first" as in "prime" or most important?

Either way, the text indicates that there is more than one Adam's vessel. This isn't too unexpected as Mari tells Rei-Q to leave before she (or is it Mark.09) is turned into an Adam's vessel. Mari also notes that Mark.09 was an Adam's vessel during its attack on the Wunder but only after she shoots the (fake?) Eva-00 head off the unit. Is any headless unit an Adam's vessel, or a potential vessel?

The biggest question raised here however is the "Seele Type" designation. Specifically, what would is a non-Seele type Adam's vessel?

It occurs to me, particularly considering that action figures are being sold here, that we may well have seen the "Final form" of The vessel in the movie(And a few more along the way for good measure).

I think it's more the fact that it was still functioning after its head was blew-off, meaning that it wasn't a normal, organic Eva, but one made of core material whose Evangelion form is just an appearance. It's supported by the truly absurd amount of punishment it receive through the movie without its combat efficiency dropping ever a bit: first bombarded by the Wunder escort fleet canons, then having its head blew off, then repeatedly shot by EVA-08's huge sniper rifle, and yet still as agile as ever.

It's probably similar to the way EVA-13 didn't had an AT-Field betrayed the fact it was one of the surviving ADAMs.

On a side note, Mark.09 too didn't showed any capacity to raise an AT-Field, so maybe the lack of AT-Field is a staple of both the ADAMs and their Vessels. So from here, when EVA-08's anti-ATF ammo were absorbed by EVA-13, maybe when Mari said "Don't tell me that unit..." she was actually thinking that it was another ADAM's Vessel, until it awakes at which point she realized "Of fuck that's not an ADAM's Vessel that's the genuine thing, oh fuckfuckfuck!"
Or maybe ADAM's Vessels can't trigger Impact, and the fact that an Eva that have the distinctive lack of ATF ready to grab the spears, apparently a vital element of HIP's ritual, tipped her that it was actually an ADAM?

I have the hunch that we'll discover that in FINAL, and that WILLE won't like it, at all!
