That's a pretty safe bet. UTW's process looks like it could take a couple of days.

Why arnt you guys useing the subs that are already out? they worked find for me after being re timed to 3.33

^ Yeah, the subs posted above are the same that came with the camrip, only retimed, they're pretty solid and well done from what I can tell, there's no point in torturing yourselves any further.

Well, I use media player classic, so I just had to load the subs after downloading and renaming them with a .ass extension.

If you've got VLC, all you have to do is right-click on the video, open the subtitles menu, choose "Open File...", then find the subtitle file on your computer. I think it may auto-detect the files if they're in the same folder, but I'm not exactly sure; most of the anime I have are in .mkv format, so the subtitles appear automatically.

If you have VLC its as simple as 2 clicks. Im sure its the same with everything else but I wouldnt know how

for VLC advanced open file. Add file. Click use sub file. Add sub. Done

When downloading from my link rename it from .txt to .ass make sure you have view file extension enabled.

@K40s In case you weren't aware, the one you're downloading is just the raw 1080p video file, no subs included. You could load the subs into your video player separately if you can get the .ass file.

I'm aware the one I'm downloading has no subs, I guess there aren't any "official" subs yet, I'm just going to do what I did with the full camrip, use the subs from github, I already created a .ass file using those as the source a few months ago, it's pretty much synched correctly for the camrip, I even tried to upload the file to the github project but I either failed or it was rejected? I'm not familiar with how github works...

Anyway, I plan to update my file with the current github translation, and see if the synch from the camrip works, failing that just have to update the synch and try it out with the actual movie, when I'm done downloading, currently is 5.7% my ISP sucks, I know

I'll see if I can get some work done meanwhile, maybe someone else could try testing the file synch? where should I upload the .ass file?

Have you tried those? they seem to be from an older version of the github translation and don't seem to be properly synched, do the movie actually starts at the 11 minutes mark?

They work perfectly fine for me. Watched it a few times already. Cant find an out of sync line except that its missing a few lines. But like only 3 for the whole movie. Its better then nothing lol

Like K40s said, the subs people are using are from an outdated translation, and much better is available at the github.

BTW, if anyone here owns the BD and has a BD player for their computer, we could definitely use the script at some point. I won't be able to image grab the script even when my disc arrives, since I can't play BDs on my computer.

So while i sit here waiting anxiously for the UTW subs and downloading the 1080p blu-ray copy. I began wondering....People that bought the Japanese blu-ray/dvd that has no english subs, do you just watch the movie in Japanese without subtitles. Like I get if you can understand Japanese...and i perfer watching the movies in Japanese with subtitles but without....I just couldn't take not know what they are saying.
So i guess what I'm asking is...do that many people here speak/understand Japanese to watch it without subs?
