Among all the other pics, as hard as it is for me to choose, this is my favorite. I know we're all sort of writing Kaji off for dead but damn do I hope he shows up in 4.0. Maybe wherever he's at is the place that "teaches Shinji hope." That'd be such a nice parallel to his role in NGE if he plays a crucial part in getting Shinji through 4.0.

Now that's just cool, I like all the stylistic choices, the stretching, the ships hanging on strings around PenPen (XD) and the inclusion of the odd red Eva things with the buildings. Just a really neat fanart.

Hm... how about more batteries for his player? Those are probably hard to come by in a post-apocalyptic wasteland.

I just had a bit of spare time today with my mini sketchpad and a DVD pen, and thought 'why not'

These are just a couple of my interpretations of the scenes from translating the script. I hope I caught some of the emotions for those who has seen the movies already.

Thanks for your concern, hopefully the compulsory waste recycling introduced months ago by the city council will save me from a similar (Naples-like) scenario.
