I'm trying to get a sense for the chronology. My impression was that:

- Shinji pulls out both(?) of the Spears.
- Lilith's body and head explode into goo.
- Eva Mark.06 reactivates; Rei decapitates it
- The 12th Angel comes out of Mark.06 (from where? the neck stub? :p ) and wraps around Eva-13
- 12th Angel turns into a giggling Rei head (or something)
- Rei-Q enters existential terror

When did this face appear? Was it part of the 12th Angel, or is it related to the gallery of severed Rei heads or the Giant Rei Head?

Someone asked if Rei picked up Shinji's SDAT music player at the end of the movie. In the last shot of the SDAT, Rei is shown next to it, but it's never shown that she picks it up.

Up until that moment in the movie Rei is only following orders, literally, if there is no command she wouldn't do anything. So, taking into account that nobody orders her to pick the SDAT, that would be her first freewill act –if she is showed later to have done so, so far there is no evidence.

As for WILLE. They are not so heavily merchandised as NERV, so I could only saw in detail their logo once, and it's written like that, with no hyphen – which I assume was a pun started because of Wall-E.

The last impact at the end, ignited by Evangelion 13, is very confusing, but the key point seems to be that there are not spears, Longinus and Casious, but two copies of Longinus. I'm not sure about the chronology and details involved, but I understand that the mechanism is indeed the kind of impact SEELE wanted to do in Neon Genesis Evangelion with Kaworu: the Lilims will become one and revert to nothing, and Earth would be left to Adam's descendants. The result is the same as in Neon Genesis Evangelions, Kaworu declines to do so, so Shinji can as a lilim can continue to live.

For the most adept to details, there is a flashback –the shogi scene of Fuyutsuki and Shinji– about Yui's fusion to Evangelion 01 core. You may recall that in Neon Genesis Evangelion, Lilith was jointed to Evangelion 01 in that experiment – I assume that Evangelion 01 was created through mitosis, but I'm not sure if is canon –. However, in Evangelion Q flashback it's shown the Evangelion 01 in a very similar structure, but you can tell is not jointed to Lilith. However, the fundamental logic behind Lilith's resemblance to Rei, and thus Yui, seems to be the same as in Neon Genesis Evangelion.

All crazy spoilers in this thread are true: the time lapse, Touji's sister, the curse of Eva (why Asuka seems young), the flying ships, etc. Except for that fake spoiler of Asuka being the last angel, it's never said during the movie.

That could be inferred, but is not explicit. It's a scene with very little dialogue, and in Rei's part none at all. Asuka speaks to Rei, but doesn't order her, however there is absolutely nowhere else to go, and Asuka is the only one with a sort of radar. So in the end you can see Asuka dragging Shinji (she needs to hold his hand) and Rei following at a small distance.

Something really curious about this scene, is that is not dark at all. Shinji is shown to be in End-of-Evangelion-depressed-state, he won't talk nor move even if kicked by Asuka. Asuka get hims out of the entryplug, and forces him to stand, being mad. However Asuka reaction to him is more reassuring than actually pissed off (unlike when she first meets him and even breaks a glass), the music is very calm, and the drawing style is that comical relief style used in anime.

Talking about drawing. There are some very rough draws in the movie, specially one of Kaworu and Shinji's hands next to each other in that collar scene. They clearly were out of time, and that seemed to be one of the last images they left to draw. The piano scene in 3d, like the trailer, while of incredible quality also has a part (a static image of Shinji and Kaworu that slides in the background) very simple that doesn't seems to be intentional. I hope they will correct it for the Blueray and give it the same polish as the previous movies. I would reassure you though, that while the animation and draws at some points seem to have been rushed, the plot doesn't gives that impression at all – for better or worse, at some point, Anno seemed to have set his head very sure on what the plot was going to be and delivered it.

Also, as someone else already pointed out. There is not fanservice, except for a picture of Rei naked from behind when Shinji walks into her room.

Yeah, I suspected that at best it could be only inferred, somehow I'm still a little hopeful about Rei Q, even after the film as a whole sent me in depression mode.
Also thanks for the additional insights about that scene, I knew that Rei didn't say a word but it's hard to understand the atmosphere without actually watching it.
