So, what do you want for Christmas?

Yeah. You read right. This is for everything that doesn't have anything to do with Eva.

Other than seeing the Great Pumpkin?

-The reestablishment of the RAH-66 Commanche program
-America's space program making another moonshot
-My sister and brother-in-law finding a way to bring their debt to equity ratio down, and save some money

-Good friends and family to spend the day enjoying the time off from work, as well as the fact we have made it this far (which the pagan celebration of Christmas was about in the first place).

-Maybe some more Christmas decorations to get more into the spirit.

-Oh, and because I had to... all the classic 80's Christmas commercials back on the air (such as the Cheerios bee and Scrooge, the Folger's "PETER!" commercial, etc).

I remember that one, " I thought I said...... Did you say honey and nuts?"

I wish I could remember the slogan/jingle that was hymned at the end......
:headscratch:

I think it goes something like: "You never can say no, to an o in honey nut cheerios."

The original version of the commercial, not editted to say "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas"

And the infamous "Peter!" commercial I keep talking about

I want a PS3, I don't care what kind, I only want two games for it; Metal Gear Solid 4 and Resident Evil 5. Then there's that new Zelda for the DS, Spirit Tracks, and that other new Resident Evil for the Wii, Darkside Chronicles. Honestly, I can't recall the last time I had a Chirstmas that wasn't just me sitting in my room all day playing new games. God, I hope my friends don't try to come over and bother me. Yeah, and then there's that 50th anniversary edition of Naked Lunch that I want. I don't need it, I already own two copies of the damn book (technically three, but it's out on permanent loan, it seems), but this one has a sweet cover.

I can go down my amazon wish list at this point, but I'll spare you all.
"Now, from Nature we obtain abundant information about ourselves, and precious little about others. About the woman you clasp in your arms, can you say with certainty that she does not feign pleasure? About the woman you mistreat, are you quite sure that from abuse she does not derive some obscure and lascivious satisfaction? Let us confine ourselves to simple evidence: through thoughtfulness, gentleness, concern for the feelings of others we saddle our own pleasure with restrictions, and make this sacrifice to obtain a doubtful result." -The Divine Marquis

"I agree Hans, but we have talked about those anal fisting analogies." -Werner Herzog

Ah..

I (make that a we, actually) don't celebrate Christmas that often, but I'm putting my hopes up for a new computer, or a few extras for my drum set..

But I guess money is something I will always lust for. :)

Even though I'm big on movies, I'm not going to ask for films on Christmas. I've told my relatives that it is better that way because most of the films I want can only be ordered from a foreign stores - usually it is very expensive as well.

So what do I stick with, then? Finnish literature! I want to read more from a few authors so I only ask for that. Plus, lots of money (so that I can do my peculiar DVD orders).

Deep down, this is the only thing I want. :nyao:
"I'd really like to have as much money as you have, Oz" - robersora
"No you wouldn't. Oz's secret is he goes without food to buy that stuff. He hasn't eaten in years." - Brikhaus

"Often I get the feeling that deep down, your little girl is struggling with your embrace of filmfaggotry and your loldeep fixations, and the conflict that arises from such a contradiction is embodied pretty well in Kureha's character. But obviously it's not any sort of internal conflict that makes the analogy work. It's the pigtails." - Merridian
"Oh, Oz, I fear I'm losing my filmfag to the depths of Japanese pop. If only there were more films with Japanese girls in glow-in-the-dark costumes you'd be the David Bordwell of that genre." - Jimbo
"Oz, I think we need to stage an intervention and force you to watch some movies that aren't made in Japan." - Trajan

I want a MacPro. Obviously, my family can't afford to buy me a $2500 computer for Christmas, so I asked for a bunch of useless shit I don't need instead.

Money would be an adequate gift, though I doubt I'll be able to buy a single book for next quarter.

EDIT:

Oh, and a tattoo.

Happy ending for Rebuild.
:biii:
Actually, I want lots of snow, family and friends together, and a better new year. On the materialistic side, I want MW2, Halo 3, Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition, and Fallout 3 for my 369.

And I wouldn't mind unwrapping a butt naked Misato either, as well as a Mari.....
