Yeah. You read right. This is for everything that doesn't have anything to do with Eva.

2. Specific Examples of AUP Violations. The following are examples of conduct which may lead to termination of your Service. Without limiting the general policy in Section 1, it is a violation of the Agreement and this AUP to: ... (b) transmit uninvited communications, data or information, or engage in other similar activities, including without limitation, "spamming", "flaming" or denial of service attacks; ... (e) post off-topic information on message boards, chat rooms or social networking sites; ...

So yeah, if you're a Verizon customer, and you spam or flame around here, watch out, you won't just invoke our wrath, you might also have your internets taken away from you.

Hmmm.

I guess the writers of the Verizon acceptable use policy are a bunch of mods. Who'd 'a thought?

I have Verizon FiOS.

Verizon sucks. They're a monopolistic anachronism who can't make a simple Web sign-up form work properly, and their DNS servers break the Internet by forwarding to a "suggestion" page on non-existent domains.

However, I have a Business account, so I don't think this restriction is in my TOS :). And the price was basically the same as residential, but I have no bandwidth restrictions, port blocking, etc.

I just wish that I could opt out of paying for ESPN360. (This is why we need well-written Net Neutrality laws).

I also have fios, though I've never had any problems with it, definitely much better than my old internet. And I'm a nice maid so I won't go around flaming people. :nyao:

I'm on FiOS as well: I was on dial-up for years, and I had to get rid of it because it wouldn't stay connected for more than 15 minutes at a time. So did the right thing and signed up for FiOS and I haven't had any problems with it since (aside from the connection dropping maybe twice in the three years I've had it, and both those times were during blizzards).

I certainly can't complain about the speed, especially for this price. 25 down, 15 up for $70/month.
