Yeah. You read right. This is for everything that doesn't have anything to do with Eva.

My current fanfic project, and I felt far more comfortable writing it down.

The PMMM/Eva crossover, on the other hand, needs some extra fixing... ah, fuck, no, I'll have to revise the whole thing!

Right now I'm trying to my film festival report. One film down, 9 more to go. I'm planning to finish it today, but I'm starting to think it's impossible.

And I finally managed to finish this project.

Currently trying to get inspiration for a new project, which is still even untitled and I haven't decided yet the final character names.
Basic synopsis would be:
SPOILER: Show
Mary was a 11 years old homeless girl when she was almost raped by an unknown man, until Detective Cole saved her and gave her a place to live, in another state. 7 years have passed since the incident and now Mary with his boyfriend Joseph (Just edited) have gone back to Gardenia to try to find and thank Det. Cole, but he's nowhere to be found, being declared as "Missing" while trying to resolve the Johanna Silverson murder.
While looks like everyone in the police station doesn't care about his disappearance neither the murder, Mary finds Lt. Steven Armstrong, Cole's old partner, who hasn't give up on any of those two cases. So they have made their decision: Mary, Joseph and Steven will have to resolve Johanna's Murder and Cole's disappearance by their own, realizing that none of them can't trust anyone.

Sorry for some grammatical errors you may find but I had some many ideas so I couldn't stop and check. Damn, I still can't complete the screenplays of my other 11 projects, but I still have all the ideas in my legendary .docx file with its 32,830 words all written by me.
We'll destroy everything , and we'll keep destroying it until it looks like all the bad things -all the sad things- never even happened at all.

I've had many ideas for films throughout my life, and the biggest flaw I've ever had is not actually planning them out before I attempt to write the story. Today, I'm going to attempt to orchestrate a full story. It's inspired by the simple concept of two twins, one good and one evil, from the lost but recently recovered Alfred Hitchcook related flick The White Shadow.

I don't know if I've posted this before or not.
I'm making a video game. You are Karamel the Camel. You have a gun on your head (you were born with it), and a saddle(which is just part of your bizarre fashion sense). Your ammo is barking pigs.
Anyway, you're walking through the forest to see your squirrel friends, only to find them murdered. You stand in shock, unable to accept the death of your friends. But you see a spaceship, carrying one of the Caramels of Order. You've heard stories of people being brought back to life by the Caramel. Thus, you follow the ship to see if you can bring your friends back to life, and maybe avenge them along the way.

The gameplay will mostly be a sidescrolling shooter-platformer hybrid, although individual levels will sometimes pay homage to other series and genres. I'm not ready to announce a release date yet, but maybe sometime in late Spring will be the release.
/hj

I said and did some dumb and hurtful things in my time here when i was younger. If i ever hurt you, i'm sorry. If you see any of this while reading old threads, i'm learning and trying to improve. Donut redemption arc in progress.

After many grueling hours, I completed my first ever audio editing project.

It's essentially a remix of the wonderful Chris Isaak song, "Wicked Game". A friend of mine recorded herself singing the vocals a few days ago, so I downloaded the vid off her Facebook and mixed them into an instrumental track, which she apparently couldn't find even though there's like ten on YouTube.

This was an absolute bitch, too. After all my hard work I almost gave up because the vocals didn't really gel with the track. Plus, when I tried the reverb on them, it sounded way too auto-tuned and since I wanted to surprise my friend with this, I didn't want to bury her voice. What I eventually did was double the vocal track, lower the pitch on each, add two different reverbs, then copy the original vocals from a saved file and lay all three on top of eachother. I like how it turned out. Her voice is still crisp, but it has a nice buffering effect Plus, it gels with the track better, because the three voices and two instrumentals ensure even distribution of the distortion and echoes.

I just posted the same link on her Facebook. I can't wait to see what she thinks of it.

In the last week or so I've been paid to make sprite graphics for an Android game, compose panel layouts for an immersion-based language-learning game with a comic book style, and illustrated and typeset a cookbook for homemade dogfood.

Life is weird.

I really need to be composing music but everything I write I end up unsatisfied with. I wish I could be happy with my work.

Made eggnog. It's not bad, but I think I have to add whip cream to the mix later today in order to thicken the texture a little and make it bit less bitter.

I like it. It's a pretty good cover. Nice and heavy on the reverb, too.

Working on a few pieces of fiction. One is my homage to mecha and space opera. Going slowly since I'm not quite confident enough to tackle a project of such ambition.
I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

Some of you may of being aware of the fact that NGE put a lot of weird ideas into my head, which compelled me, soon after seeing it for the first time, to start developing stories around the Evas and Angels themselves. (Yes, just them. No Lilin.) I've struggled with this undertaking for about a decade now, trying to give form to my "spinoff", and accumulating a stack of material around a foot tall (drawings, writings, other scribblings) and other creative miscellany in the process. And yet, still, many creative impasses remain.

I've considered at various points that "cutting the cord" would be prudent. But it wasn’t until my latest Eva forum hiatus that I was finally able to take that step forward. And it’s been done. Holy Shito!, Beyond Eden’s Shores — those WIPs are no more. They are wrapped in a new chrysalis, being transformed into something that no longer depends upon the work that so greatly inspired me. It was a scary move to make, but now I feel liberated. There are so many places that this can go now.

And since I don’t dare burden the average forum-goer with the horrors I am planning, here is a short, short summary: As things currently stand, the story covers a centuries-long conflict between the humanoids indigenous to an alien planet and the giant monstrous beings that suddenly start appearing. This world’s deep past involves a clash between gods, and its present now involves awakening new gods — eight guardians imbued with the souls of mortal women — to keep the dangerous giants in check. Of course it sounds rather familiar… but most super-short summaries do.

Currently working on a mecha story with a time travel theme. It's very much a send up to the genre, with affectionate nods and playful jabs at shows like our beloved Evangelion. I honestly only have a few early notes that my beta reader has yet to look over, with things like the mech being a combiner formed from a jet, a lion, and a tank, as well as a few ideas for the villain group (a cosmic horror and it's cult) and the mech pilots.

...and Teddy Roosevelt and Nikola Tesla being on board what amounts to a the White Base from Gundam.
