I split off the fake tweets tangent.
Next time, please do some minimal due diligence, like looking at the actual account.

I didn't like the direction Iwata took Nintendo, but he was a very shrewd businessman who kept Nintendo afloat, I can respect him for that.

Rest in peace.

Also, he was coding long before he got picked to run the show, which may also explain why he did just that to survive the brunt of more powerful contenders.

RIP Iwata. I burned some incense in your honor when I learned of your death. :(

I kind of have mixed feelings about the whole thing. Of course it's a tragedy that he's dead, but with him no longer being the president, maybe Nintendo will actually try to compete with Sony and Microsoft again.

Not a celebrity in the traditional sense of the word, but in his own right as a Vocaloid producer, starting at 14. Whatever the cause of death, it's heartbreaking especially if dead at 20 and so much to live for.

British neurologist Oliver Sacks dies at 82.

He was the Doctor in the film (and book) Awkenings starring Robin Williams, which is his account of dealing with comatose patients (50 years onward) who were caught in a 1920s outbreak of Encephalitis lethargica.

Wes Craven, at 76, has just passed away from brain cancer. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/wes-craven-horror-maestro-dies-818806

This is very sad news indeed. A Nightmare on Elm Street was one of the films that hooked me into the horror genre as a teenager, and to this day remains one of my favorites. I met and got an autograph from him at a convention in Los Angeles several years ago, and that was the most exciting moment of the entire weekend, aside from getting beat up by Bruce Campbell and Ted Raimi.

RIP.

I can't say I've ever really been a fan of Wes Craven, but the dude was hugely influential and was very talented. He did a lot of really great work in the horror genre even if it doesn't really appeal to me. A great director and someone who will definitely be missed.

Seiyuu Miyu Matsuki dead at 38. Such sad news! :( http://myanimelist.net/news/42954746

Apparently in her final blog post she talked about wanting to get married once she got better.

Her pneumonia was at its worst stage. The sad thing is, voice acting has one of the greatest passions yet one of the smallest paychecks and longer working hours (not sure if they have hospitalization coverage but they should be). Which is why most of them have sideline jobs to fill up the tab.
