Musical Prodigies, Show Yourselves!

Yeah. You read right. This is for everything that doesn't have anything to do with Eva.

I play guitar and I try to play the piano :)

I did recordings of some eva songs for the good people of the now defunct NGE Portal Forum. If there's interest, I may post them here. Have to find the mp3's first. They are somewhere on my backup DVDs =)

Well, actually, it's not Eva songs, but songs that are played in the series =)
I did these recordings some 5 years ago, there are some tempo mistakes here and there, but I think they are still good recordings =)

Oh, I forgot to say, I also play the organ, and I can sing between tenor and basso profundo for some mysterious reasons.

I'd love to learn how to play the theremin, though.

I can play the piano at a decently high level but i'm sure as shit no prodigy.
He was warrior and mystic, ogre and saint, the fox and the innocent, chivalrous, ruthless, less than a god, more than a man. There is no measuring Muad'Dib's motives by ordinary standards. In the moment of his triumph, he saw the death prepared for him, yet he accepted the treachery. Can you say he did this out of a sense of justice? Whose justice, then? Remember, we speak now of the Muad'Dib who ordered battle drums made from his enemies' skins, the Muad'Dib who denied the conventions of his ducal past with a wave of the hand, saying merely: "I am the Kwisatz Haderach. That is reason enough."

I play guitar. I have a couple of recordings online (plenty more not online, for various reasons) which can be found here. The first I'm quite happy with, the second should probably be re-recorded but conceptually I like it enough.

I loved your pieces, Maverick.
maybe i would've been something you'd be good at.

I've just put a new song up on my page. I'm quite pleased with it. Just thought I'd throw that out there in case anyone would like to check it out. :)

I'm learning Clair De Lune by Claude Debussy. It's almost completely smooth, so that'll be coming down the pipe.

When I was in HS I played in Percussion, so I used a number of instruments from snare drum to xylophone, to timpani and bongo's, to drum set and chimes and a bunch of other stuff. I was in marching band for about 7 years. I can also play a little bit of piano, although I haven't touched one in a long time. Unfortunetly my music days faded away in 2004 and I really haven't been that interested since, except for a lingering desire to get into the electronica buzz one day to see what it's like. I feel it better to express myself that way, if that day comes.

I can't. I lose track about halfway through.

I also conducted twice. But I was just a replacement as the main conductor did not appear for the rehearsal. I am becoming quite stressed that I have both piano and violin examinations coming up... (added to my early GCSE's and my school examinations, and the American SAT I will be preparing... oh the horror)
