I've always been a big fan of George Carlin.

i watched the first two regan posts and by the 5 minute point in the last one had to turn it off because of the blood oozing out of my ear.....that is some bad bad stuff. there are some good american comdeians, but the above - with exception to Mr Monkey's post which is alright - are nothing laess than dreadfull. here's some british comedy, be warned: i haven't checked the qaulity of this video, but this monkey man is a genius. give it a shot. you never know.

Brian Regan kicks ass.
Always did enjoy Mitch Hedberg.

Eddie Izzard, now there's some unfunny stuff I can't understand why people like. I saw a whole movie and barely even smiled.

The purpose of writing is to inflate weak ideas, obscure poor reasoning, and inhibit clarity. With a little practice, writing can be an intimidating and impenetrable fog!

Must be a regional thing, because I didn't find that funny at all. It was like TBN humor, observational but obvious, except for with swearing.

Pablo Francisco IS funny, so it's too bad he doesn't come up with anything new.

Dane Cook is plain genius when it comes to observing everyday stuff.

I know he's old and dead, but Rodney Dangerfields gets my vote. Any guy who can dedicate his entire act to his lack of bodily function control is OK in my book!

I saved a girl from being attacked last night. I controlled myself- R.D.
If it wasn't for pick-pockets I'd have no sex life at all.-R.D.
My psychiatrist told me I was crazy and I said I want a second opinion. He said okay, you're ugly too.-R.D.

R.I.P. Rodney, You finally get the respect you deserve

He started out in standup, but like most famous comedians the more famous he got, the less standup he did. Couldn't really find much of his standup routine on YouTube except for this.

It's not his best work (not even his face) but it's better than nothing.
