This'll probably stay up til at least Christmas, if not all winter. I don't change my wallpaper very often, especially when I find one I really like (like this one).

The quote is dialogue from the game (Deus Ex: Human Revolution) when Adam's in Hengsha. The first Deus Ex used "gweilo" for JC in Hong Kong. I know both mean foreigner (similar to "gaijin") and just like "gaijin", it can be a negative context depending on how it's said or used.

No, I know what it means, it's just sort of a strange word. As most words are in chinese, it's a compound of two words; it's like "old" (as in familiar) and "outside".
But anyways. I guess topic-wise, I still don't have a desktop image, as I never actually see my desktop so it doesn't matter. On my windows devbox I could opt to have one, but I can't seem to find any reason to use an image outside of just the default light blue. As the HTPC we have doesn't have a picture for it's desktop either (it's just black), I find myself wondering why would I want a picture/image as the background at all?
