As a transformers fan the pointless arguments over fembots on another site severely disappoints me. In fact it's to the point where if I wasn't involved with several RPs I would leave the site.

On a complete different note all this supposed "progress" I've been making is bullshit. I still get very pissed to the point of wanting to smash people's skulls in over tiny things, I still can't interact with people without that immediate fear of what they think of me and I still am intimidated by just about everyone. So I take it progress means staying exactly the same. I can't stand my life because it seems like it should be great but still sucks. And as it would turn out, I'm apparently failing all my classes except math and might have to repeat 9th grade. :rolleyes:

Sounds like tonight will be my ailing Grandma's last night. I've taken care of her and spent time with her over the last 8 months or so. It's strange that even though she had advanced dementia and didn't know where or when she was, I learned more about her than I ever knew in that time. I'm not sure how I feel right now. It's hard to pinpoint my emotions. Part of me is happy, another is saddened, and others feel something between regret and anxiety. In any case, I'm glad she'll be at peace soon. It's gotten harder and harder to see her as she's worsened.

She was like a grandma I never had, since I barely know mine because they're so far away (and getting old themselves).

I hate those feedback forms you get on your "leadership" or "teamwork" style and you know what kinds of things people are going to say, but it still sort of upsets you when you get them. Being introverted and socially awkward is hard. I'm trying to get better but it's such slow progress.

Whelp. Gonna need to retake Calculus 3. I'm not pissed off because I have to retake it, but more because I worked extremely hard this term and I still wasted my fucking money.

~$1400 down the fucking drain. I feel cheated. Shit, with the money that class cost, I could have purchased a PS90 and gotten more out of it than that class.

After 33 years of actively avoiding working on the Cambridge Science Park, and following a consolidation of company facilities, as of Tuesday, my contractual place of employment is Building 101. It's just the same distance to commute directly as the old office, to within a furlong or so, but rather than being on almost deserted country lanes, it involves going through one of the most traffic congested urban areas in the country, and a bottleneck as everyone working there or in the similar development across the road tries to get to work. Or I can turn my 10 mile cycle ride into 15 miles to loop round Cambridge to get onto the busway from the north.
