Meh. She didn't notice that you accidentally wore a shirt with some schmutz on it, and you know you made a boo-boo. I get it feels like you majorly fucked up, but in the long run, this isn't really a big deal. Besides, you seem like you know what you're going to do so that you don't do the same thing again.

Aww man, sorry to hear about your cat.

Why'd you get kicked out of school, though?

Sorry, delispin.

-----------
@Compiling_Autumn; Basically after any one goes on a date for the first time, or hangs out with somebody they like, they usually always find something to beat themselves up over. "Oh, shit! I said so- and-so," or "I didn't hold the damn door open for her." I haven't been on a date in a minute, but when I do I always think the same thing. Mostly ya just gotta let those kind of thoughts go as nothing productive is really going to come out of them. It's great to like someone, so don't try to make yourself feel bad by over thinking things. Even if you said/did something wrong you're only human, and there'll always be chances to do/say the right thing in the future. Good luck with it all buddy. :kawaii:
I used to work in a factory and I was really happy because I could daydream all day -- I.C.
And thanks to EVA, I've started like myself and that has made me very happy. Mr. Anno, please keep working on EVA a lot more.
and thank you so much for everything!!

My bacteria induced bronchitis somehow led to a separate viral infection and I have a few papers due this week. And my language end of term exams. I hope this is karma down payment so I will generally have a good year.

A very minor FML but when I tried to watch "Cowboy Bebop" on my DVD player, I could't access the subtitles to changed the language to Japanese. Turns out my remote is toasted (the battery leaked or something) and I can only play all the episodes (so no commentary or special features)

Still, watching it in English, its like I was watching it on Toonami

Does your DVD player have any buttons on it that you can use? I own one that's old enough to have selection buttons on the console itself, which makes it useful when I can't find the remote for it anywhere.

The player itself has a Play button, a Stop button and an Eject button. That's it, though it saves the place where the DVD has been stopped if you take the DVD out, so there's that I guess :uhh:

I just stopped caring. I hated my course and didn't want to work as a computer programmer for the rest of my life. It's funny because I really regretted not seeing it through, which bummed me out a bit. I felt like I let a lot of people down, including myself. My mother didn't care though, just said she was sorry I didn't like what I was doing.

As for the cat, I'm just happy I won't be finding piss and vomit on my bed anymore.

You're a 22 year old woman, right? If things are honestly so bad for you at your house, you always have the option of moving out.

Yeah, but like I said until I get a job, save up some money, and get a plan together, moving out isn't an option right now.

I found myself making that decision in 1968 - programming = fascinating hobby, boring career. So I started a different career, in sound recording.

Two years later I was a programmer, a decade later selling software round the world, 25 years on I was using computers for all my hobbies (the sound recording, etc, etc). Although computers have been my life-time career (as a computer manager more recently), for a long time now they have also been the basis of whatever else I've wanted to do.

What I'm getting at is that you don't have to work "as a programmer", but can work "with computers" in whatever area interests you.

Some countrymen are too radical -- or some would say, "too loony" -- in thinking to be living in my country.

Such as militant child-free advocates.

Now I'm reminded about the 12 Monkeys and the like.

People who believe in self-extinction, or who reject the idea of human procreation, giving birth and raising children and instead think that they'll have lesser financial burden and more time for self-improvement. However, there's a difference between them and asexuals.

To reason with such uppity individuals is futile, especially in a place called Reddit. If they want a circlejerk, they ought to set up their own subreddit so that they don't like being harassed by "outsiders" and "infidels" questioning their ideology.

I asked a simple question as to who would bury them once they die, and, oh, they got ticked off, showed their true colors and I told myself, "is this where these 'smart' people congregate?".

Out of quiet disgust, I unsubscribed from my country's subreddit (where they have their own thread) as a result.
