Don't "science" degrees (i.e. in the science itself, not engineering or what have you) fall under a "liberal arts" classification as well?

My degree in Engineering Science is a BA (Bachelor of Arts) - though the same department now awards MEng rather than BA.

The useless box has evolved (watch to the end).

The classical meanings of "liberal" have been replaced in most contemporary usage. The original liberal arts were the trivium (grammar, logic and rhetoric) and quadrivium (arithmetic, geometry, music, and astronomy) -- so very little that gets taught at degree level would count as either. My original MA for mathematics is probably fair enough in the original scheme of things.
