Monk - Hmm...I think I disagree. Oh, and about this...

Also, the head start should mean an early end, otherwise the balance will get messed up, the stars will misalign, and the planets will be thrown out of their proper orbits and then good job trying to get Pluto back on the planet list we just lost the fucker from the entire solar system!

...Isaac Newton would beg to differ with you, sir! Oh, and did I mention that there is evidence for two large planets, one about 200 times the distance of the Earth from the Sun and the other about a third farther out, in the spookiest reaches of the Solar System? You'll have a couple of new Sailor Senshi to add as your avatars when that happens!

So, even Shinji gets a moustache for Movember, it seems. I've started with the one with most votes, but I may well rotate through them each week.

I would remind people that Movember is a charitable fundraising exercise. I do not grow a moustache for charity myself, and have chosen to make a donation on Shinji's behalf directly to the parent organisation.

It's a cause I support, especially in view of the fact that 25 years ago I myself had testicular cancer, and was (apparently) successfully cured.

pwhodges: I would've probably used more discretion in the choice of avatar if I'd known it was something that personal.

"Y'all pussy muthafuckas don't know what real lip fuzz iz, bish!" - Gene Shalit
Among the people who use the Internet, many are obtuse. Because they are locked in their rooms, they hang on to that vision which is spreading across the world. But this does not go beyond mere ‘data’. Data without analysis [thinking], which makes you think that you know everything. This complacency is nothing but a trap. Moreover, the sense of values that counters this notion is paralyzed by it.

And so we arrive at demagogy. - Hideaki Anno, 1996

Following Ursus's line of thought, you could use companies playing Christmas music TOO DAMN EARLY as your example. ;) Although, it's technically November now in the US, so have at!

Now, the avatar I would like to use is currently undergoing consideration, so have this as a placeholder (and as a hint of what is hopefully to come.)

I work overnights and store music system appears to slowly transition with the music. It had already started at 12:10 with some Christmas sounds during a Stamps advertisement. They'll play maybe a few songs over the next few weeks but the second it hits 12:01 after Thanksgiving it will slam pure Christmas music. Yay for my old cracked Ipod that still works and no direct supervisor!

Well, it's Movember now, so Mr Skeltal shall retire now to spoop another day. It was getting 2spooky4me.

So now, time for the replacement: Noriko Takaya, AKA the most simultaneously adorable and badass mecha pilot ever, bedecked with a wonderfully bushy moustache.

And yet she still rocks the 'stache better than some people I've met.

Egashira wants to join the Movember crew, too.

Egashira 2:50 is a one-man comedy act that always wears those creepy black trousers. He is known for his intrusions to various Japanese TV programs over the past two decades in order to do weird stuff. His usual set includes stuff from stuffing his hand down his trousers and doing weird shaking moves to leaping into the audience butt-naked and harassing celebrities. While other comedians do lots of activities from sketches and hosting programs to even acting and singing, Egashira hasn't done in his career anything but stay in his eccentric character.

Here are some examples of his outbursts:

So basically he could be described as "Unexpected Appearance Man/The Living Garry's Mod Ragdoll". From the videos you linked, it's...actually pretty funny.

Oh wow, I should ask this guy to crash my sister's 18th birthday party. I mean, she'd hate it, but the lulz would be spectacular.
