Well, the flat is nothing outstanding, just a nice building from the olden times, with high ceilings and pretty doors. But it's located in the same district Freud and Schubert worked and it's close to my University, also it's affordable and my flatmates are nice. All in all, I'm pretty happy. :)

Just had one of those "aha!" moments of my sexuality!
Turns out I must be asexual. For years on end, I've been kinda feeling abnormal about my feelings towards sex. All my friends would talk endlessly about it and glorify it. It also seemed like a rush for everyone to get it on with someone else. Me? I never felt a strong impulse to get on the bandwagon. Simply felt indifferent to the idea.
Upon mild curiosity today after browsing the "GLBTQ Otaku represent!" thread and seeing this talk about a "Kinsey scale", I decided to take a random Kinsey quiz and scored "X" (asexuality). Granted, I know doing such a thing should be taken with a grain of salt. I've of course heard of the term from Biology classes and it referring to plants being able to reproduce without needing both male and female, and I've always assumed asexuality applying to humans was a "forever alone" joke. Well, after looking it up, it's actually a thing and reading the descriptions/experiences from others, it really suited me. Basically, in my ideal relationship, I don't seek sexual activity, and it's nothing personal against the other person if I don't feel strong desire for such things. I just value intimacy in different ways that feels comfortable to me.
This counts as a RML to me since anything that makes the journey of self discovery easier is very rewarding!

grats. personally i dont have an AMAZING sex drive or anything, like im not craving it like some people and i seriously question why people risk getting diseases by having sex with random people just because they are frustrated when masturbation exists, but at the same time i still get urges now and then :P so fairly sure im not asexual, why did i got off on this random tangent? because my girlfriend is hot and im a 17 year old girl, trying real damn hard to not say anything about this to her (so technically this is a semi FML)

I'd say the talk about boundaries (i.e. what's deemed OK in respect to physical touch and what's not) is pretty essential. Not being open about might lead to increased but unwelcomed awkward tension between you two. Either you or her might do something one of you finds bothersome; not addressing could eat away the other person.
Take my advice with a grain of salt of course. Just my observations from the past.

I'm not saying you are asexual, as it's a spectrum and only you can make that call, one that feels comfortable. I will say that you seem to fit the description, but again, I can't make that call ;)

Thank you as well! My parents and other friends have always tried to get me to date, so that I could have 'experience' in sex, and when I expressed disinterest in that, they assumed (my parents at least) that I was afraid of acting on. To some degree, yes. In another sense, I don't have a phobia of it and would open to the idea of it, but ultimately, I feel most at ease knowing all along, I simply didn't desire it. It made me almost question my sexual orientation, but I felt pretty strong that I wasn't a homosexual and nor has that ever been a significant conflict for me; just don't jive with the whole "a relationship needs to have sex in order to be genuine and fun!" ideology.
