These are two pieces I produced with an HP Scanner, translucent materials such as 16mm film and CD-Rs, and a mag-lite flashlight. The same flashlight that destroyed my last computer.
It's basically just an exploration of abstraction, light, and color in both digital and analog mediums of art. I hope you like them. I was quite pleased with the results myself. They're some of my favorite work.

No, not really. Basically what happened was I was out of high school and kinda depressed because I didn't know what I was gonna do, and so that summer my grandpa took me to all of his haunts in San Pedro. I made this the day he took me to a place called Friendship Hill, from whence one could see from downtown Los Angeles to the San Bernadino mountains to Catalina Island. That night I got a little drunk and painted this in Photoshop while listening to Rammstein's Mutter album. Looking at it now it somehow does resemble what the view from the hill might have been like if we gone there in the evening. I think the thing in the middle of the picture was supposed to be some kind of Earth goddess for reasons I don't remember; Gaidev I think was her name.
