Yeah. You read right. This is for everything that doesn't have anything to do with Eva.

Does anyone else listen to the band City and Colours? I hadn't heard of them until about a week ago but then my friend introduced me to one of their songs and now I can't stop listening to it:

I'm also getting hooked on Widower by The Dillinger Escape Plan:

Because I think you're so good
And I'm nothing like you

I can't find a good youtube of it, but I've been listening to Night Witches (Sabaton), a lot. It's just a good song.

Even though i was listening to it just this morning, this has been stuck in my head ever since, particularly the prominent bass licks crawling under the melodic chaos

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BqkP_GWU3b0 Awesome song by Kreator. It was quite a big step going from Endless Pain, which almost sounded more NWOBHM than thrash, to this full bore death thrash brutality. Definitely over shadowed by other big thrash albums of '86, like Reign in Blood, Darkness Descend, Master of Puppets and Peace Sells, while those are great albums, Pleasure to Kill by Kreator blows them out of the water.

Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Anthrax, etc. is fine, but don't you think comparing Kreator to Dark Angel is just a teeny tiny little bit unfair? i mean, i love both bands as much as the next guy, but come on ;)

Haha, how so? Darkness Descends was one of the big thrash albums of 1986, that's the only reason I compared the two.

Mixed Up is such a great release. I bought it on a whim in Japan back in November 'cause I really liked the cover but I had never heard of it or listened to it beforehand. Some of the versions appearing on it are absolutely incredible - like you mentioned with 'Lullaby' and 'Fascination Street'.

I like the song 'The Grand Optimist', but that's about it for me.
