Aircraft [tangent]

Yeah. You read right. This is for everything that doesn't have anything to do with Eva.

I personally prefer the F-22. But thats probably because I am an ignorant fool who loves to fly it in a game called Hawx. Although.. I do wish to become Aeronautics Engineer...

Seems they finally solved the oxygen system's problem.

Ah geez! They finally got it fixed, and here I thought it was gonna take longer!

[Actually reads the article]

.... Wait, it seems that they didn't actually FIX the problem, but just working around it. It looks like the Honeywell-made Oxygen system wasn't the cause after all - or rather the cause wasn't as obvious as thought before. So far, they've taken extra precautions while keeping an eye on the problem.

While they cleared the planes for the time being, it's a bummer that they didn't resolve the issue totally. I hope they get to the bottom of this soon, this plane really does not need the negative press.

It's an equal disappointment to see that they didn't get cleared in time to see action over Libya. While it would not have been necessary to have F-22s bombing over that country, I'm sure it would have been nice for the pilots to fly some combat hours in those things for once.

===NEW POST===
Well, I just wanted to drop a line to post this video. Now we just have to hope that it won't end up like this.

===OLD POST===
I fear that more incidents will happen since they're just removing the ban for PR reasons, nice job USAF :resurrect:

This is becoming a new Chinese tradition: new Chinese stealth aircraft unveiled during Panetta trip. You can check this J-21/31 here.

Looks a lot like an F-22.

Yeah, it reminds more of the F-22, the J-20 with its canards doesn't look that much stealth to me, it really seems the son of the MiG 1.44. Apparently this J-21/31 is also called F-60 for the export market. I still would like to know if they can manufacture reliable engines, anyway they seem to enjoy experimenting with stealth designs lately.
So let’s make a wish.
