I'm gonna buy this:
http://enemieslist.net/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=24
I've already heard the album, and I enjoy it, but I might as well get the physical package since it's so cheap for what it is, and the book looks intriguing. Also, I'm sure Dan Barrett could use some more money in his pocket.

Since I had some cash thanks to my birthday, I went ahead and bought a few things. This is what I bought...
Autobiography of Mark Twain, vol. 1
A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court
Usagi Drop vol. 3
The Dick Cavett Show: Ray Charles
And the surprise of the day...
This
Merry Christmas me.

I found these at a local geek-emporium. It's really a collectibles shop, but they also serve as a comic shop/games store/video store. They are from the Viz run that went out of print in 1996ish and aside from Revenge of Chronos' cover being a little bent they are in perfect condition. I also got them for 10 bucks a piece. My jaw drop when I saw them, been looking since I was probably 12. Apparently some guy collected them, and sold them to the store recently. Sorry for the brightness issue.
SPOILER: Show
I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

You gonna get blankly stared at.
So I bought one of those Bamboo tablets for $70 at Best Buy. I don't know why because I can't draw for shit.
I guess I'm hoping that the mere possession of such an item might unleash some sort of hidden potential within me.
It works just as you'd think it would and I've had zero problems with it. Coloring is fun; I've found myself wanting to draw things just so I could color them in afterwards.

Nice. Works best with SAI (anyone using a tablet to draw recommends it).

The duo look really good together. Rich reward for those who persisted and got both issues of Young Ace!!
I never thought I would come back to Evangelion after EoE,
But I discovered Re-Take (or it found me?) and
now here I am.

Aw yeah. Caught me by surprise today since it only took three or four days to get here. More (crummy) photos in the spoiler below.
I apologize for the blurriness of some of the photos. Bad Photography Skills + Old Camera = Bad Photos.
SPOILER: Show
DAT BOX. I was really surprised at the quality of the box. I expected it to be nice, but it went above and beyond my expectations. Though it is just a box I guess...
Back of the box.
Inside panel. I had a shot of one of the sides of the box, but it came out blurry. :/
"What is this I don't even..." I didn't expect it to have this plastic wrap inside its torso, and getting it off was a bit of a pain with how carefully I was handling it. I eventually got it off without any problems.
Some photos...
That moon light is BRIGHT. Can't even take a photo from the front without it causing an insane amount of glare.
