And you don't understand some or all the rules of the game, or can't understand why the red line is still on the ice even though two line passing is allowed. That's why I started this thread to, hopefully, answer some of your questions. Alright bring on the first question!

The red line is their for one reason. If a player passes the puck from his own side of center line (that's the red line), crosses the red line, then crosses his opposing team's goal line without being touch by another player, and the puck being touch by a opposing player, except the goalie, that's called icing. Note that if a team is shorthanded the icing rules for that team is waived off.

As for getting too close to the goalie that's what the goal crease is for.

Yeah I was thinking of the goal crease!! lol. well thanks for clearing that up anyway. I used to watch some hockey but now I mostly watch football these days..

The Milwaukee Admirals. Their a minor league team in the AHL.

Cool man! I don't really have a fav team but I like to cheer on the Toronto Maple Leafs, even though they really suck. It's just the closest team to where I live that's the only reason. Otherwise I just watch hockey and not cheer on anyone.
