Favorite Music Group

Yeah. You read right. This is for everything that doesn't have anything to do with Eva.

It feels good to have a fan of a hometown band here... Yay Everclear! ...Yeah, there isn't much that comes out of Portland compared to other cities...

I don't know... I mean, no one should know who my favorite band is, because it isn't as obvious as you may think. The Offspring are only my 2nd favorite band. Weird Al takes it, I've liked him the longest and pretty much grew up on him.

The question was "Your favourite music group", that's one - not several.

If I'd take one, it would be Black Sabbath. Been there the longest, and I still play their music every now and then. Can't say that about bands I've discovered the last 2 years or so.

You´re boring.
Besides, I don´t have a single favorite band, so I guess saying several bands won´t overload the server. In fact, if everyone did that, it would be a good way to stimulate the interest in other bands.

I'm a bit boring, not that much though. But I created a topic before with "Favourite song(s)" where you can write about any band you wand, and specify which songs you think are good with them so people can check them out easier, and not get bored because they start out with a bad song? (That can happen far too often)

And to try and think about all the downsides and compare them to the good things with the bands you like, and eventually come to a conclusion of which band you'd pick if you had to take ont - not that hard if you just think a little.

I would think Smashing Pumpkins.....

Or Nirvana.....first things that come to mind

Though recently I havn't been able to get Coldplay out of my head

PS: hope it's ok to mention eva in the Off Topic section, lol. But Everyone should check out the Alternate Soundtracks by Carl Horn from the manga....I think it doesn't only go with the Series like it was based on the music itself, But it some VERY excelent music....
Put's me in a 90's mood....don't know what it means, but it makes me happy.

I have all of the older albums, except the 10th Anniversary ones, and the Birthday of Ayanami.
I am content till I finish those downloads.

I posted in this thread, because I didn´t want to elaborate on the reasons that I like the bands I mentioned, but I guess the thread "Favourite songs(s)" is more useful than this one (though I didn´t see the thread on the page and I didn´t bother to turn to the next page). And when it comes to the bands, I wouldn´t bother to choose only one, because I would have to take into account every album and song that each band performed, so it isn´t a task that you do in half an hour, and I don´t think it justifies to spend a lot of time to decide on my favourite band, so I can post it in a messageboard where I barely know anyone.

Both good choices.
The purpose of writing is to inflate weak ideas, obscure poor reasoning, and inhibit clarity. With a little practice, writing can be an intimidating and impenetrable fog!

System of a Down, Godsmack, Disturbed, three of my faves. I have others that don't come to mind at the moment.
Evangelion > Donnie Darko > Beef Jerky > Feces > Inuyasha > 4Kids

Matter = Weird

P.S. Fried Chicken is good
