Cool! It does look nice. We have a crazy weird Rebuild sub-forum here where people either wail on or love on Mari. I really just scratch my head at her, to be honest. ^_^

Thanks for the welcome! I'm kind of indifferent about her, am saving my judgment until 3.0. But I think she's cute so I wanted to draw her.

Yeah, me too. With the exception of her intro scene, she kinda felt like build-up to the next movie in 2.0 anyway, so I'm waiting for that.

wait, Mariel is usually one of the foremost reasons for hating on Rebuild.

I just thought a third female pilot was an unnecessary, fanservicey, and profitable move (sticking her in the preview for 2.0 so you could sell merchandise of her two years early? seriously?)

^ It's still too early to tell if Mari's inclusion was unnecessary. She might have not done anything substantial in 2.0 apart from some major asskicking and being batshit insane, but we're still at the midpoint of the story.
