Dirty Work is a one-shot comic by Sadamoto and his wife, who's also a comic book artist and goes by the pen name Takaha Mako. It's drawn with Sadamoto's usual style, but the story... decide for yourself.
In my opinion, it's too unrealistically dark. Like in Route 20 and Eva, to a degree, Sadamoto treats death in a pretty callous fashion. Dirty Work is also a very bizarre work for something that a husband and wife collaborated on-- you'll see what I mean.
worth checking out, though. any opinions?

Yeah, that was very dark--the artwork was good, but it does seem a little too over-the-top--interesting though...

I didn't particularly like it, I guess it was going for a certain atmosphere rather than establishing a solid exposition. If this is the case, Sadamoto would have done good to know the expression "show, don't tell." As it is, it doesn't seem well-balanced.
The purpose of writing is to inflate weak ideas, obscure poor reasoning, and inhibit clarity. With a little practice, writing can be an intimidating and impenetrable fog!
