I'm back in full swing. Not just popping into the forums now and again. I've taken a good look at some of the threads I've not read or simply glazed over, and I don't like what I see. The main problem I see is people going HORRIBLY off topic.

STAY ON TOPIC BITCHES.

I'm half tempted to simply delete posts which don't offer anything to advance the discussion. If I see a topic going off topic. It will be locked.

Some of you are clamoring about mods not doing their "jobs". This is not a job. The moderators were only selected for minimal structure. I would love to see them post more, but that doesn't bother me. They are associates of mine who I trust and know to be mature and capable of conducting themselves maturely on forums. Thats much more important to me than activity. Some state activity as a qualification for modship. It is not, frequent activity is just added bonus. I look for maturity more than anything.

I will pick a new mod or two. But don't ask about it. I'll come to you.

Glad to see your back. But you have an excellent point, we should have been able to keep ourselves in line, not depending on Mods or you, makes me ashamed now. Just glad we have an actually authority back.

i am not sure i understand what you mean by minimal structure (less bureacracy?) or maybe the streamline the structure?

Minimal structure means some mods, some organization, and some basic rules. Without these a forum is just a jumble. The forum is tending more towards that at the moment, especially with all the threads going off topic.

Great to have you back EM, ( I am sorry about the 2 PM's I sent you about the mods , its just that the forum was falling apart :cry: )
