Why do the 1.11 menus look different just because one's BD and the other's DVD? Wouldn't it make more sense for Funimation to make things uniform and have the same menu for either release? (Space issues shouldn't be a reason since Extras for 1.11 DVD are on their own disc.) /Confused SSD
I'd say the Japanese menus look the best only based on "prettiness", but each one seems to get the job done so yeah. Only thing is, apparently Funi screwed up on their 1.11 DVD (I just got it but haven't watched it; I only had 1.01 before that.) where selecting the Jospeh-Maurice Ravel version versus Sagisu version of Rebuild Of Evangelion 1.01 (AKA the making of feature) plays the opposite songs.
That aside, I noticed something amusing when skimming through the guidebook: Aoba's jibbed out of a spot in the characters section.
And in the Introduction section, what originally "Evangelion New Theatrical Edition: Prelude" or "Prelude" (in the 1.01 pamphlet) is now rendered as in the 1.11 booklet as "Evangelion:1.0 You Are (Not) Alone", but "Prelude" is still mentioned in a few spots throughout the booklet. Maybe Funimation swapped one title for another to differentiate their 1.01 and 1.11 releases or something.
