I'm more glad that they got Summer Wars. I'd hate for such a masterpiece to get horrible dubbing.

I wonder if they're planning on releasing 2.0 and 2.22, like they did for 1.0. I'd buy both :P

Masterpiece? Really? It's beautiful to look at yeah, but I found the plot and characters to be flat and formulaic. Really disapointed me.

2.0 doesn't exist, or rather it only exists as the theatrical version.

They'll probably do what they did last time with 1.0, release 2.0 for it's theatrical run (if it gets one of course), then 2.22 for it's DVD and Blu-ray release.

Anyway, awesome news.

Summer Wars was Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann meets The Girl Who Leapt Through Time meets .Hack//, and it was beautiful.

I imagine I'll get to see Funimations' 2.0 dub when it hits cinemeas for Reelanime in a months' time. Since Summer Wars is also showing at the festival I imagine I'll get to see it dubbed as well.

I saw Summer Wars in subs and it was perfect. I wouldn't take advantage of the dubbed audio at all. I am excited for the theatrical release of Eva 2.0.

I very much doubt it. I don't think they have the dub done yet.
Also, the cinema website says: Starring Megumi Hayashibara, Maaya Sakamoto, Kôichi Yamadera.

Which cinema website is this? Madman's Reelanime site only says 'Japanese with English Subtitles' and Dendy only has a synopsis and a rating. In any case I'll be happy to watch 2.0 in its original Japanese.

Ah, that's for the 2.0 screening(s) in Sydney - it's subtitles exclusive. As for the festival, I guess we'll wait and see.

Huh, I think I've seen 2.0 more than 1.0 at this point; I have two digital copies and an import dvd. My interest is already down, but this used to be the moment I've dreamed about....
