I would if i'm that into EVA. Having a daughter named Rei or Asuka or Misato would be cool.^-^

Heavens no, i mean aside from Evangelion names often being Japanese it might make you less "Eva Geek" and more "Mentally Insane"

but for a moment i want to be insane, I've always liked the name Asuka, it's a cute sounding name.

Maybe if I had a daughter, her middle name would be Rei (much like my brother's middle name is take from The Thing of "The Fantastic Four"), but that's about it

her first name would be something normal

The only name that sounds normal enough to name a person that isn't from Japan or a different country is Adam. I'm sure if someone in the US named a child Gendo, the child would hate their parents with a passion when they get older.
