Why they never built an AT-field gun ?

like a rocket or sth, put some random orphaned kid inside some goo like human dna clone of lilith, put into a rocket with a nuke, and blam ! toss it at the angels.......kids are pretty easy to replace......

Because it would take to long to make one and making an AT-Field gun would actually require an AT-Field sample(?) if that makes any sense. An Eva is just fine though.

Some guns, like the positron rifle, are capable of piercing an AT-Field but a lot of power is required.

If you can make an A.T. missile, you might as well make another EVA. There's enough crap that can pierce through an AT Field by the endgame.

Because it's not really physically possible. Souls need to inhabit bodies if they're gonna inhabit anything at all, and something PWM if they're gonna project the AT Field offensively.

So either way, it looks like this soul needs to inhabit an Adam clone, which always has an anthropomorphic shape. Their method of building Evangelions indicates that NERV doesn't have the ability to just mold this flesh into a gun like playdoh.

And AT Fields cant' be shot like bullets because they're ego boundaries.

Basically, to make an A. T. field gun, you'd have to make a gun that fires Evangelions. Not a very efficient use.
