Arguably Life's Greatest Question...

Let's say you're eating a sandwich. But this isn't any ORDINARY sandwich. It is the greatest sandwich you have ever eaten! But what's this? You have almost finished the whole thing. You hold in your hand the source of divine pleasure, and now you have two choices before you.

You can either take one last LARGE bite and enjoy the rest in its magnificence, or you can take two SMALLER bites and attempt to savor and prolong the experience.

How do you solve such a dilemma?

I'd probably do the second if I had to stop and think about it.
"Now, from Nature we obtain abundant information about ourselves, and precious little about others. About the woman you clasp in your arms, can you say with certainty that she does not feign pleasure? About the woman you mistreat, are you quite sure that from abuse she does not derive some obscure and lascivious satisfaction? Let us confine ourselves to simple evidence: through thoughtfulness, gentleness, concern for the feelings of others we saddle our own pleasure with restrictions, and make this sacrifice to obtain a doubtful result." -The Divine Marquis

The solution is to make that same sandwich again, but this time relish every bite you take. As for that last bit, I'd go with the first choice and completely relish that.

I should have clarified; This is the greatest sandwich you will ever eat. The sandwich itself must have been assembled by the hand of God, and you know that once that last bit is gone, it's gone forever.

So this is a Hand of God sandwich...okay well, I'd still go with the first option. As I ate it though, I'd remember how good the rest of it tasted and savior that.

Would you take the last bite before you died, or pass it along your children/grandchildren?*

*We'll assume for the sake of this discussion that, because if the sandwich's divine nature, it will never spoil.

But if god made the sandwich , maybe you'd become immortal if you ate it. It would be just like highlander but with sandwitches.

There can only be one....sandwich....

Anyway if that was the case, I'd probably teat it in one bite, since taking two bites would give more opportunity for people to try to steal it.

Save it in a freezer until I'm suicidally depressed, then pull it out and take the last big bite as I look at a picture of a flock of Corgis.

As long as Highlander is beign mentioned, I'll go with the Kurgen's option (paraphrased for the sandwich metaphor): "I have something to say... It's better to chow down then let it mold away!"

I'd probably go with "take one big bite of the (presumably gluten-free) sandwich", myself.

There are no sandwiches assembled by the hands of God; the sandwich is a lie. I would have the sandwich analyzed by a lab to determine the exact combination of ingredients used and then reconstruct the masterpiece and sell it for profit.

Since god does not exist, then the sandwich must have been created after thousands of years of evolution of sandwich recipes. Therefore, it is recreateable after all. So why not just chow down and then have some more? Unless you're a fatty, in which case you should be eating a salad instead.
