[CYOA]Shinji - Eva Pilot and Harem Anime Stud

O.K., I thought I'd try my hand at this. It's going to include Mari but I'm going to add her to the original continuity, so there will be no Rebuild spoilers. I may also add in elements from the Manga. Basically I'm going to add harem elements into the mix. Who knows? If you make the right choices Shinji may even score (in a PG. sort of way; I know where I am). The action picks up between Eps. 7 and 8.

Your name is Shinji Ikari and you are an Eva pilot. So far it's been a decidely not fun job. You've just about recovered from the fight against Ramiel, and Misato has recovered from her adventure inside that stupid giant robot, Jet Alone. You have finished your breakfast, but Misato has the day off and has slept in. She came home late and drunk again last night.

You turn on the television and find yourself watching Bevis and Butthead watching an E.D. commercial.

Announcer: If your erection lasts more than four hours, seek immediate medical attention!


Butthead: For me or the girl?


Bevis: Hey Butthead! Call a doctor!

What do you do?
1. Keep watching, this rules!
2. Change it! This sucks!
3. It's Saturday. Find Toji and Kensuke and hang out with them today, but first check on Misato.

You decide to check on Misato before you head out. It's fun to guess whether she passed out with all her clothes on or was she sober enough to get into her pajamas. You enter her room and turn red as a beet. Misato is sprawed out on the futon stark naked (face up). You avert your eyes momentarilly, but then give in and drink in the view for about thirty seconds. This is new. She was sober enough to get undressed, but too drunk to put on her pajamas. There's more beer bottles here than there were yesterday evening; it looks like she continued drinking after she got home. It doesn't look like she'll come to very soon.

What do you do?

1. Leave the slob like she is?
2. Throw a blanket over her so she won't catch a cold?
3. Try to dress her in her pajamas, which are draped over a nearby chair?

You glance at the blanket. No, she would just kick it off. You decide to try to get her into her pajamas without waking her up. You decide to start with the top, but as you tentatively lift one of her arms she grabs your wrist. Startled, you drop the pajama top to to the floor. Is she awake?! No, she's still asleep. She begins talking in her sleep.

"Kaji-kun. I know we've been doing it for a solid week, but just one more time, please. I've nearly perfected my technique."
You wonder just who the hell is Kaji, and what had they been doing for a week. She couldn't possibly mean...??!!
Misato giggles and says "There's a good boy!" She pulls you down on top of her and embraces you, while simultaneously getting you in a leg lock. This is not good. Especially if she wakes up now and notices your...
You quietly reach behind you and try to dislodge her hands. As you pry at her fingers the inevitable happens; her eyes open.

"Well good morning Shinji," she smiles, obviously still drunk. "I didn't know you were such a perv! Well, I suppose it's O.K. as long as it's you. Go right ahead."
"Mi-mi-misato-san!" you stammer, "It's not what it looks like. I-I-I wouldn't..."
"Oh really?", she frowns and dumps you off the futon. She rolls on her side to face you, still not bothering to cover up and pouts "That's sooooo boring."
"I-I-I think I'd better leave now Misato-san." As you rush out you hear her giggle and say, "I was lying. You're not boring at all. Teasing you is sooooo much fun!!!" Both shaken and stirred, you finally leave to find Toji and Kensuke.

Having found your friends, you all decide to vist the game center. Nerv is already marketing an Eva vs. Angel game that Kensuke wants to try. "Anyway Shinji", says Kensuke, "I'm surprised you could be here today. Why aren't you at H.Q. to meet the new pilots?"

"New pilots?, you ask.

"Don't you even know that? They're supposed to be arriving today!"

"Hey guys," says Toji, "take a look." You and Kensuke look in the direction he is pointing. You see a vaguely foreign looking girl with glasses and a sort of goofy-looking face being confronted by a trio large male bullies. The biggest one, obviously the leader, is saying "I don't care if you made me lose by accident. You cost me the top score and you're coming with us to make it right, right guys?"

"This looks like a job for the Three Musketeers", says Toji. He and Kensuke rush to the rescue.

What do you do?

1. Watch the fun. They don't need your help.
2. You're a man aren't you? Join in the fight.
3. Look for help. There should be a cop nearby.

Must be Mayumi, because Mari might kick their ass worse than Asuka's (just a guess).

By unanimous decision it's #2!

Pausing to consider only briefly, you follow your friends towards the altercation. To your astonishment, Glasses Girl hauls off and punches the big guy on the chin so hard that he knocks over the game machine behind him! One of the others roars, "How dare you do that to Aniki?". Each of the other two ruffians grabs an arm and they fling her through the air, directly at you! You land in a heap with her boobs in your face. Momentarily forgetting where you are you savor the sensaton.

"Sensei, are you alive?", asks Toji. Meanwhile the big guy has recovered and is roaring back into action.
"You can nuzzle my breasts later, Nerv's Puppy-kun.", says the weird girl. "We've got a fight on our hands right now. Here's the plan. The jock and I will take on the big guy; you and the nerd deal with the other two." She gets up and she and Toji charge the leader. The other two rush past them and head for you and Kensuke.

As you engage you hear a voice to your side shout "Aida Punch!!!" You glance over and see Kensuke's opponent doubled over in pain. Thinking "If he can do it, so can I", you shout "Ikari Punch!!!", but your opponent easily catches your fist with his hand.
"I guess you're not as tough as Four-Eyes", he grins.
You hear "Aida Kiiiiiick!!!", as Kensuke's foe flies completey over a bank of video games, crashing into the next row of games. As your opponent prepares to slug you, your eyes widen as you see what's happening behind you. The gang leader now has several ridiculously exagerated facial bruises, and Glasses Girl and Toji each have an arm and a leg, preparing to fling him at his unsuspecting companion (and you). There's no way you're getting smacked like that again! (Especially not by a guy.) Wrenching your hand free you duck in the knick of time! Leader and minion crash into the Nerv game, completely destroying it! The battle is won!

Sirens become audible in the distance. "I think we'd better run guys!", shouts Glasses Girl. After running a judicious distance you stop.

"Um...you seem to know who I am. How...?", you ask the crazy girl.
"Because you smell nice, like LCL. I'm Mari Makinami, starting today I'll be your fellow pilot."

Just then a horn beeps. Misato has driven up. "Good, I see you've already met Mari. That saves me the trouble of introducing you. Everyone pile in; we'll make it a date. I'm going to pick up the other new pilot." Toji and Kensuke enthusiastically pile into the car. You and Mari follow suit. Misato drives you to the airport and points to a hellicopter. "Lets take a ride, she says." This seems to excite Mari as much as Toji and Kesuke; they all three rush forward. leaving you and Misato together.

What do you do?

1. You still feel a little embarrassed by this morning. Run ahead after the others to avoid talking to her.

2. Ask her about the other new pilot.

3. You'll meet the new pilot soon anyway. Scold Misato about her scandalous behavior this morning. (You can tell by the way she's been smirking at you that she remembers.)

Hm, number 2 is the best approach. And Asuka already?! Let the games begin!

btw, it IS refreshing to see Eva as a harem story with them being in-character instead of say, their OCCness in the ISRP manga. XP At least everybody's in-character in the GoS2 manga more or less besides RiAO (the GoS2 game has 26-AU perv Shinji while ISRP game takes place during the series).
