You know the kind I mean: the one that for whatever reason, you love to bits and pieces, but you're almost ashamed to admit to it (it's too cute/it's too popular to be considered cool any more/it's too obscure, etc. etc. etc.)

For me, it's Yami no Matsuei. The visuals are great and the voice acting is good (well, Muraki's dub VA could have a little more inflection to his voice, but there's something about that flat, nasally voice that makes Muraki even more weird than he already is), but the plots and the writing are a bit wonky, plus there's there bishounen/shounen ai aspect which some people roll their eyes at (to say nothing of how most anime forums with a Christian angle have outright banned it from discussion).

I used to watch bleach on cartoon network a lot.

Also Im kind of into American kids cartoons right now.

I have never once heard anyone say that about Slayers. And somehow using a devastating magic spell that can blow up entire towns just doesn't seem that girly to me. Either you don't know a lot of people or they are fucking with you.

Kodomo no Jikan wasn't really a guilty pleasure for me because it was agonizing, yet strangely I continued to watch it.

Lucky Star was kinda fun to watch. Its utterly retarded but I enjoy certain parts of it.

People I know do and they find it girly due to the looks of it. I said the samething also and they all said no.
