Something about Asuka I can't stand...

For around 15 episodes, from her cocky remarks, to snobbish comments, to even flirting around to Kaji... does anyone notice...

HER PRIDE IS SO F**CKEN ANNOYING... i hear her complain so much.. and up until then, shes one of the most hated characters in my standards... she WHINES so friggin much... and even though the world may soon be destroyed, she insists on being the best and prideful... Has she no shame? And has anyone ever told her that? I mean the scientists of course knew about her short-tempered personality that can't even control her own actions... shes such a bad person -_-

yet....

In the end (movie) you just had to show her die... and then well... i feel like an idiot for posting the past paragraph above... and thats why evangelion sometimes gets me -_-

You obiviously dont get the meaning behind the characters and the history of the characters, this is an intergral part of evangelion ( you need to understand the characters.)

I used to hate Asuka, until I saw her mind rape scene. After that the poor girl just made perfect sence. Now I am an Asuka fan boy for life.

^ Nothing gives somebody free license to be a horrible person. I'm more inclined to feel sorry for the people who have to DEAL with Asuka, as opposed to Asuka herself.

Oh come on she's not that bad. Sure she's bossy and full of herself, but its not like she's a bad person or anything. She just needs to grow up emotionaly.

i must say that i have lived through someone like Asuka (and only for a couple days a year) and its pretty damn bad...

Trust me, Recchi, I've been living with my little sister for the last 14 years, and even that devil is a fart in the wind compared to some of the girls I've had the misfortune to meet over the last couple of years.

Asuka isn't at all that bad compared to them.
