Instead of talking about directors, which I'm getting quite sick of after over a year, how about talking about cinematographers instead? If there's one thing that ELAM needs, it's a veteran cinematographer. A bad cinematographer would just destroy the movie. Here is my shortlist of cinematographers I think would be good for the movie:
-Bill Pope (The Matrix trilogy, Spider-Man 2)
-Roger Pratt (Brazil, Batman, Harry Potter 2 & 4)
-Andrew Lesnie (The Lord of the Rings trilogy)
-Janusz Kaminski (Minority Report, War of the Worlds)
-John Mathieson (Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven)
-Robert Richardson (Kill Bill, The Aviator)

Hmm. I guess out of that whole list I'd pick Andrew Lesnie, because the Lord of the Rings Trilogy are the only movies of the above listed that didn't suck.
I'm not talking about the quality of the actual films (though I do strongly disagree on Kill Bill, Brazil and a few others), I'm talking about the quality of the cinematography in said films.
