I finished this aaaa...bout a week ago? And finally put one up for auction on eBay to see how well it does before trying to sell the rest. I had intended to sell around five or so at Anime Fest, but I was too late to make it into the Bizarre Bazaar and the Art Show didn't want my kind. $12 plus shipping may seem like a lot for a twelve-page book, but since I only ordered 20 copies published and wanted to make sure they were the highest quality possible, it cost me over $4 a copy and I have no idea if I'll ever sell all (or any) of them. I'll probably be lucky to break even. Also, remember that there are only twenty copies in existence, some of which belong to members of Happy Puppy Circle (that's... that's the doujin circle's name). And they're all signed and numbered from one to twenty. I know people under 18 can't use eBay without getting a parent to bid for them, so I'm going to set up a Google Checkout thing once I get a proper webpage for Happy Puppy Circle up.
Even if you have no interest in buying, I'd like opinions as to how the doujin and its eBay page look in terms of quality and aesthetics.
And before the inevitable "THIS IS ILLEGAL YOU'RE USING COPYRIGHTED CHARACTERS" reply, remember that doujinshi is not only condoned, but extremely common in Japan. Gainax in particular is extremely relaxed about copyrights (Khara, on the other hand...). Also, this story's ridiculous and sarcastic enough that it's unmistakably a parody. If Meet the Spartans is kosher, so is this. Oh god, did I just compare something I wrote to Meet the Spartans? GRAAKAAAAUAUGHEAHKERH.
THANKS FOR HELPING WITH TRANSLATIONSTUFFS, SSD! I COULDN'T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU, AND YOU'RE ALWAYS SUPER SPECIAL! Also, Reichu helped a bit, too.
